I’ve used this chippy 3 times in 3 years & every time it’s been disgusting. I’ve just spent £13 on food that got binned. Never again!

What has happened with the pricing gone through the roof this month. I know increases are everywhere but these are ridiculous chips and gravy has jumped £1.20 increase sausage 40 p etc etc cash this goes up every few months but now is jumped huge. People also commenting on their pricing outside. Will be looking for a new chippy. I get everything has gone up everywhere and I'd have it if you could pay by card. Why is it cash only ??
The Friendly House chippy may do the greatest Gravy and chips in the UK in my expert opinion. Fantastic portion size, excellently fresh cut chips that act as a sensational bedding for the gravy....The Gravy also is a cutlery triumph in flavour and consistency that for me is unrivalled. Everyone involved at The Friendly House should be proud.
Very long wait for our order. Food OK, not the best we've had. Will go elsewhere in future.
Best chippy in Liverpool. Lovely fresh tasty food . Server's are polite quick and efficient. Clean too .
I rang up and got there 15 minutes later and told them I had a phone order expecting it to be ready, I then was made to wait a further 20 minutes in there. The meal was overpriced, and the gravy was disgusting. Will never go back ever again.
Tried this place last night as our regular was closed and was really impressed. Place seems really clean and all staff were masked up but more importantly the food was served pretty quickly and was delicious. Will definitely will be going back there!
Really efficient at taking orders, and serving very tasty food. I highly recommend their fish and chips. Tonight I got a large Chinese order, which was delicious. They made a lovely Vegan Tofu vegetable dish for me. I only discovered this Chinese Chippy a few months ago, but I've been thrilled with their service every visit.
