Have been looking for an authentic Indian restaurant in Liverpool. Have tried many. But as having eaten in the home of British curry houses. (Birmingham). Have found the choice of good food. Slim pickings. Now we have found this takeaway. We won’t need to go all the way there. It’s on our doorstep. Great service and choice. Fab
Khans is our favourite takeaway. We have been going here for a long time and tried most of the dishes. The food is outstanding and you can tell it is of good quality. We do not even bother going anywhere else now as we know it would not compare. Whole family have different tastes and we all love Khans❣️
Fresh, tasty food every time! I especially enjoy their butter chicken – they make it to my taste medium/hot instead of very hot, so they will adapt your curry to your specification. The lamb rogan josh is also excellent, full of flavour and cooked beautifully. Poppadoms with the chutneys and sauces are a great touch, everything goes together so well. My orders are always ready on time for collection, and the service is friendly and welcoming. You can really tell the chefs here are skilled and care about the food they prepare.
I've been ordering from Khan's for years now and they have never let me down. The Veg Vindaloo & Naga Achari are recommended for a good chilli blast. Voluminous portions make the extra wait worthwhile. Also have open cooking, Cheers!
Have recently had two takeaways delivered,the food was1st class. Definitely recommend.
Ordered at 6.30 on a Saturday night and was told to pick it up in (about) an hour...maybe 10 minutes more. So i went at 7.45 and they were so busy. Waited about 10 minutes which was fine as they were really busy and doing their best. Food was gorgeous! Like real restaurant food. Peshwari nann bread was delicious as was the sagg aloo, rice and onion bhaji. Main courses were excellent. We got chicken tikka and the chicken was so succulent and huge! Also got chicken silsilla and that was beautiful. We got two meals for 3 and we couldnt eat it all! Excellent place and our new favourite takeaway. Thank you to all the hard working staff at Khan. Your dedication and hard work is appreciated.
Khan offers consistently tasty food, but delivery can be on the slow side i.e. I've waited over an hour and they're just 5 minutes walk from my house. As long as you bear this in mind or you're happy to go collect food yourself then it's not a problem. Top marks for hygiene on Scores on the Doors too and you can see right into the kitchen from the customer waiting area.
The food is good but the service is awful had to wait two hours had friends round so was slightly embarrassed as they were starving. It arrived without some of the order and because I ordered online the app didn't have anywhere to request a refund. I rang up and the guy was like I will drop them off and I said I just want a refund as we had eaten he said he would drop the refund off . Currently still waiting; Will not be ordering off them again and I have used them before and it's always the same they take forever to deliver.
