Large portions of flash fried chicken with either noodles or rice, it gets quite busy during the weekend so you may have to wait a little longer.
It was good overall. I prefer bang bang chicken to other options but I think I had better food from another vendor last time. More tasty and you can get a mix of rice and noodles
The peanut sauce veggie chicken is the most incredible vegetarian meal. It used to be a ritual for my friend and I to visit Bang Bang, every time I promise to try something new but always end up getting the same meal every time. I always bring a food container with me as the food fills me for three meals (with home-cooked rice). Now my friend has moved back to her own country, I will be dragging other people to London for this absolute banger.
Not great food. The Fried chiili beef was dry and had the fried fatty beef taste. No heat to it (I'm not the biggest chili/hot food fan!) The noodles that came with it was old! It wasnt even warm and very dry. The fried chicken dish was similar - poor quality fatty thigh used. Avoid
Food was beyond terrible. I ordered the chilli chicken with noodles. The portion was huge but the quality of the chicken was atrocious. Oily, greasy and the chicken was old and not fresh at all. Chicken was hard, stale and difficult to eat. I couldn't finish it. What you are served here is not fresh whatsoever. I would definitely avoid these guys in the future.
Food looks amazing but thats its only good point it tastes awfull. Food was cold on the inside and steaming hot on the plate. Looks like it was not warmed up long enough. Food was also tastless. Sauces too watered down. Shame this place used to be good.
Loved this place! Good quality and large portions. Customer service was great as they helped us to choose our dishes.
Had the Vegetarian kung-Po Chicken and would say its okay but a tad bit too sweet. The chilli oil was a good addition but the quantity of it wasn't enough for the portion of the main dish(quite generous there). Would've gone for another half star if the takeaway box didn't have an extra charge associated to it. For the price being paid for the dish, I don't think a charge for the takeaway box is justified. Another bummer is that they had a cash only payment option.
AVOID THIS PLACE- There are much better Chinese restaurants in Bang Bang. Ordered the Salt and Pepper Chicken and it was by far the blandest Chinese food I've ever had. Rubbery tasteless chicken and unsalted chips - for £11, you would expect better. The woman at the till was extremely dismissive when I complained and said there was nothing she could do because I had tried the food, 'its down to personal taste' and instructed me to add the ketchup and sweet and sour sauce to it to make it taste better!
