Coming to Las Iguanas used to be a great experience β€” good food, good service, good atmosphere. Today was the complete opposite. I came with my mum for some tapas and it was disappointing from the start. We watched our drinks sit on the bar for around 15 minutes, next to six other trays waiting to be collected. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm β€” clearly left out too long and clearly not enough staff on shift. Β£8.50 per tapas item is a joke for what we got. Our waitress mentioned this location is β€œtrialling” a new tapas menu. If this is the trial, it’s basically testing how far they can push portion sizes and still charge premium prices. I work in central London and for Β£1 more I can get quesadillas ten times the size. The buttermilk chicken was barely a third of a breast, the peppers were fine, the squid popcorn was honestly awful. Curly fries were okay but also lukewarm. My mum’s cocktail was so diluted it was barely drinkable. The spark Las Iguanas had five years ago is gone. The little details they used to get right β€” cocktail quality, food temperature, overall care β€” are terrible now. We ended up rushing to leave because it was just that underwhelming. Overall, a terrible experience. You’ve lost a customer, and I’ll be telling friends and family to avoid if they want a good meal out.

Lovely restaurant, love the food and the service was splendid! Having different cuisine options and being able to order a variety made it a great experience personally as a foodie. Claudia and Mala were so attentive, quick, efficient and friendly! Will definitely be coming back!

I was introduced to Las Iguanas earlier this year, and was absolutely blown away by not only the flavourful food, but the impeccable service too. Any dietary requirements are dealt with perfectly, and staff always make sure to check on you or seat you elsewhere to suit your needs. I can say that I once had a birthday offer and the waiter forgot to reduce the total for me, but this was corrected immediately and staff were very apologetic. Of course, mistakes do happen, so I wasn't bothered by this at all, but I was very impressed at the way in which they managed this. The staff go above and beyond for your experience, and we were once offered free drinks which was very lovely. In terms of food, everything is up to standard. With a wide variety of flavour profiles and hearty, warm food that's reasonably priced, you're guaranteed to never leave Las Iguanas hungry!

Couldn't order any hot drinks - the staff told us the machine was broken... So no hot chocolate or coffee. Food was quite pedestrian. We ordered a medium rare steak it came back almost well-done and extremely hard to chew. It did not taste or look like a rib-eye which was what was advertised. Overall not impressed. Also the waiter informed me about the selection of red wines by the glass - one of the options was Temperanillo (which I chose) - when it turned up it tasted really light. After looking at the bottle it turned out the wine was a blend of Temperanillo and Grenache. It tasted like it was mostly Grenache.

We initially came here to try out the cocktails which were delicious, especially the zombie passion fruit. We decided on a taco sharing platter, nachos, buttermilk chicken and bravas for four of us and was perfect, we even had some leftovers. Everything was really tasty. Great service and very efficient.

Our first visit, a quick bite after shopping. We opted for an easy selection of tacos to share, a Cuban sandwich and a burger. None of these items were adventurous considering the breadth of the menu. There is a lot to choose from. The nachos were very bog standard, basic, no fluff. Tomato, sour cream, avocados. There was an option to add chorizo and maybe chicken? I didn't feel the need My sons burger was hot, moist and delicious, he says. My Cuban sandwich, my first ever, was a little underwhelming. Soft bread, ham, pickles, sliced pork, French fries. Not sure what I expected, but the oomph was missing. It was hot and gooey, a plus for any hot sandwich. We ordered 2 different shots of cachaca. Only 1 type was in stock. The service was friendly and informative. There is much more to explore on the menu, than the basic choices we made.

Can’t count how many times I’ve been here, either for drinks after work or family meals , always a nice atmosphere, food is always delicious and the portions is fantastic. So many options to chose from and prices are very affordable. As a brazilian this is one of my families favourite places to enjoy a good time and food . The staff are always so helpful and polite !!

Listen, if the Great British Bake-Off shows us anything about Brits and Mex/South American food, it's that Iguanas is doing great. Coming from the states and authentic Mexican food, this isn't exactly the same, but this is a tasty spot. Delicious food, great drinks, good atmosphere, and overall a nice restaurant. I'd go back anytime!

Brilliant restaurant! Good food and quick service. Went there just before the show Ehrlich brothers at Wembley arena. The food service was so quick despite the big crowd queue to get in. I was impressed how their system is so well organized! These guys know how to run a restaurant efficiently! Maybe we should send our politicians there to learn how to run the country! Boris and his cronies need to visit this place to learn what efficiency is all about!

Food and drink was lovely. The staff were really nice. The portions were massive and the 2 for 1 happy hour all day everyday is great. My only complaint is that I got Dominican goat curry and it was lovely but the menu didn't say there was coriander in it which ruined it for me.
