We ordered a delivery. The bread was brittle and hard and the bajis were chewy. The yoghurt was very watery. The veg bhuna was bland and watery. Most of the veg were slices of cabbage. Really awful takeaway.

I went to the Wirral Tandoori yesterday (29/09/25) for the first time in ages, as I no longer live in the area. The manager and staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel like I’d never been away. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. The chicken pathia in particular was outstanding — without doubt the best I’ve ever tasted — perfectly balanced with a rich depth of flavour and a lovely lemon zing that lifted the whole dish. It reminded me exactly why the Wirral Tandoori has always been a favourite: great service, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the journey back more than worthwhile.

I've had lots of birthdays here and party’s; Lovely authentic Indian dishes with a great atmosphere. It’s definitely worth the visit :)

Food ok, hardly amazing. Service was super slow unfortunately. Main issue I had is that the place is absolutely filthy. Floors walls doors all really dirty. I watched the staff member behind the bar pour the drip tray from the beer into somebody’s pint glass then top it up with fresh lager, absolutely inexcusable behaviour. This restaurant is very well placed and could he packed to the rafters, sadly it was way less than half full, perhaps this is why. Lots of takeaway being served mind. Will be reporting to the local food safety officer to suggest another visit, I think a 3/5 might be optimistic

We have a favourite Indian restaurant which is the only one we will go to, however we were in the area tonight and decided to give this place a try. It's just as good as our favourite. Everything was fantastic, the service was great, the staff very attentive, beer fresh and cold, food superb. My husband ordered a curry which was far to spicy for him (he always does and its his fault) but he said it was so delicious he couldn't stop eating it. The waitress was lovely enough to bring over extra after dinner chocolates to help calm his burning mouth. The overall experience was just really really good. We will definitely be back again

A shame. Have been twice and each time they have given me the wrong dish. The first time i informed them and they swapped it but the second time the manager was telling a lady member of staff off infront of the whole restaurant so was embarrassing and humiliating for her and I didn't want her getting into more trouble. The food has been really good though.

Overall a solid 4 out of 5. Party of 5, Waitress not very attentive. Often had her back to all of the tables. The waiters bringing the drinks up for other diners often spotted us waiting for more drinks. Food was reasonably good. No complaints, atmosphere was reasonably good, few large tables adding to the mood. Not rowdy just having a good time. Place is looking very run down though, bathrooms are small, staircase carpet bit of an eyesore/trip hazard. Could do with closing for a few weeks and having a good refurb.
