I had an incredible experience at this gem. The moment the food arrived, I realised how authentic and carefully crafted everything was. We tried bastilla, fish tagine, and green tea, and everything was exceptional in flavour, balance, and presentation. Each bite revealed tiny details and layers of care, even when the ingredients looked simple. Special thanks to the chef for his attention to both service and detail. Would come back whenever possible for sure!

I've been at Azou first time many years ago and I've never forgotten how good it was, so I was deeply hoping to find the same quality. It was honestly even better than I remembered. Food is delicious, all perfectly balanced with amazing spices and in armony with vegetables flavours. The atmosphere is lovely, very traditional and elegant, the Chef is very nice and makes you feel home, while being very discreet, and so is the staff. We also had a very good bottle of red wine, dessert (home made raspberry sorbet - amazing!) and dessert wine. Highly recommend, I'll be there soon again for sure.

Highly recommended! The food is very nice and tasty. The place is very nice and seems very traditional to the North Africa culture. Food is tasty and delicious and they serve generous portions. The prices are fair and the service in general was great!! Recommendation before you go, if possible book a table online or by telephone as it is a small place so it could get fully book considering as well the openings closing times. They will respond your email or call in a good time frame. Many thanks Azou for your hospitality.

This amazing restaurant is still amazing after my last visit over 10 years ago. Always a warm welcome from the staff and the food is incredible. With the authentic North African decor you are transported to Algeria where Chris the chef is from. We had a fish tagine and also king prawn with rice, both dishes were expertly spiced, came piping hot and packed with flavour. Our waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about everything and looked after us well. We were also fortunate to have a long chat with chef Chris who is a great character. I can't wait to go back to try another dish!

All the fishes tasted not bad, portion sizes are bit small compared to Khamsa, and doesn’t provide complimentary bread. The owner, Chris was nice, gave me some salad leaf because I’d really like to have some, the mint tea was nice. Overall a good experience.

A little North African jem, with food style spanning from Tunisia to Morocco, authentic and hearty. Generous portions, flavourful, a real soul food experience to pair with a small selection of North African wines.

This place is very authentic and welcoming. The starters stole the show. The main course was good as well. If you are not someone who enjoys eating spicy I would be careful. Also the portions were too big for my liking. Other than that this is a great place.

It was dark and warm when we entered. The stickers on the front of the shop does no justice for the place. More lights are needed as it dull. Victoria the waitress failed to watch customers. We asked for mint three times and she still forgot. There was only three customers so it should not have been difficult. Not great service. The food was a disappointment and over cooked you could taste the burnt parts of the food. The second portion came it was like it had been frozen and put in the microwave. The chicken was not tender and not tasty. I have had the dish before this was not pleasant atall very dry It was really annoying as with paid Β£33 for two staters a bottle water and a pot of mint tea. Over priced and quality of food was not great. I would not go agian.

So delicious! A great place to experience Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian food all in one place. The tagline was fantastic - just barely touch the lamb and it melts from the bone

DO NOT HESITATE… EAT HERE! My husband is Algerian and has raved about this restaurant for years since he lived in London. After 5 years (& a pandemic) we made our way to London from California and he made sure we checked out Azou. The food here is incredible, the ambiance is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. My recommendations: Start with the sardines, brik, bourek, and the bastilla (the combination of the meat and the sweetness of the cinnamon is such a wonderful taste) Entree: Tajine zitoune (I love olives) and couscous royale (merguez, the lamb sausages are my absolute fav)
