I've always enjoyed my visits to this restaurant. However, today service was very slow, and the staff seemed a little uninterested. We had to repeatedly ask staff members if they could take our order. The food was very tasty and fresh, and I liked the fact that we were not rushed to quickly eat and leave. We had plenty of time to eat our meals and have a good conversation.

Quite a nice place for coffee before or after shopping! A bit more expensive than the other cafes in Brent Cross but worth it! Loved my Scone and Clotted Cream; they have unfortunately ran out of Strawberry Jam but did not mind at all. I rated 4star only as it got quite hot in the middle of our Coffee break. I feel that the location needs a bit of ventilation or maybe during summer time, an AC. Service is ok.

Update: I could see those senior waitresses are back today. The service was back to "normal". The food was good too, hence my rating is now adjusted. Old: Normally the food is good here and it has been very enjoyable. But the last two visits were appalling with very very slow service. Today the staff including the manager could have disappeared from sight for almost 10 minutes ... many tables were not cleared, customers were waiting at the entrance and then decided to leave. Sat down customers were waiting to be served... We waited for 40 minutes for the food to arrive after placing the order at 12 noon... We ordered just just burgers and simple dishes!! How difficult was it to make them? And at the time the restaurant was not full in any way. Definitely this restaurant is understaffed.

It’s was nice and simple food. It’s was tasty. But hardly any staff only one and we saw our coffee was ready but still sitting at the counter and no one to bring our hot drinks which became cold by the time it got to us. Coffee was delicious. The staff were not that nice. Atmosphere was nice lots of people there. And you can do shopping straight away after eating there. Nice day out.

This place of quality of food has gone down hill. The salmon is fresh, the scrambled eggs are buttery and the tea pots need to be bleached due to the stains the menu has been reduced they have removed pancakes for the kids. Overall I won’t eat here fro breakfast

Giovanni (the waiter) was the only great thing about our experience. Really sweet and professional young man. Food was okay but we had to wait 40 minutes. If we had known of delays beforehand we wouldn’t have decided to stay. Would be a good idea to let guests know as other restaurants do before seating.

Lovely coconut and cauliflower curry, nice wine, kid friendly with lunch packs including a fresh handmade sandwich, crisps and kids drink. Very polite service. Will not hesitate to go again whilst shopping at Brent Cross. Thank you.

Visited 19th of June for lunch. We should have known better as other customers were complaining as we sat down. I asked the harrassed looking waitress what the other customers were complaining about and it was the delay in getting their order. We were told 20 mins waiting time. We ordered fish & chips & omelette & salad. After 45 minutes my food arrived but no fish & chips - my husband's order. We were assured it was on its way. After another 10 minutes the waitress came over and said she'd forgotten to put the order in for the fish & chips! . We said this was unacceptable. Another 10 minutes passed and finally my husband's order came. By now he was annoyed and didn't enjoy his lunch at all and rushed through it as we had further shopping to do. We asked to speak to the manager and were told he was on a break. We spoke to another member of staff regarding the manager and he said he'd get him immediately! We told the manager what had happened and he said it would be reflected on our bill and apologised for the delay. When the bill came through nothing had been reflected on it. So we spoke to the manager again who apologised and bought over the new bill with the fish & chips taken off. Overall a bad experience as we both wanted to have lunch together. We are not bothered about the money being reduced. We just wanted to have a relatively good experience when we go out to eat. However this is becoming something of a rarity.
