   Hi we've frequented this restaurant for years with no problems. But unfortunately we went around 5.30pm on the 13th December and my partner got really ill the next day. Her illness is still causing her problems now almost a week later. She is being tested for salmonella, Ecoli and other food poisoning. I will update people here as to the findings. But I would seriously discourage the use of this restaurant. If poor food hygiene is indeed confirmed as the cause. We will alert the necessary authorities to save others suffering the same.

   A Liverpool institution that’s been on Renshaw street for 40+ years. The interior and decor likely hasn’t changed but that adds to its charm. Fresh, flavorful food. Not too oily/greasy and not over-faced with massive portions. Quality over quantity! We had the Lamb Naga, Chicken Madras and Chicken tikka masala

   Absolutely love it here, booths have had a refresh as well. Whenever we go we pick something different, and every time it's been great. Meals are tasty unlike some other restaurants which can be bland with the creamy dishes. All dishes taste completely different, not samey like most places. Highly recommend!

   Lovely staff and nice interior. We ordered the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka jalfrezi, pilau rice, garlic naan and veg samosas. Veg samosas and jalfrezi were great. The tandoori chicken lacked slightly in flavour but was still good. Nice little place to eat food. Would come back !

   Beautiful food and great service. Food was lovely and spicy like we asked for. Didn’t appear to be wheelchair access but staff were very kind and helped my mum who was in a wheelchair.

   You can sit in a private booth with a curtain to close, not sure what the need is for that as it's quite claustrophobic. Food was delicious

   i hadn't been for many years until yesterday and just forgot how good they are. had pilau rice and vindaloo and sat in. the booths are genius! please always keep them i love them! didn't wait long for food and very attentive. The only gripe I have is that they don't deliver because, seriously, i would be ordering every night! thank you again for a lovely meal! :)
