   Absolutely loved the food here - the burger was amazing and the mushroom dish my wife had was to die for!!! Also tried the chicken and the cucumber salad which were really good. This place is a hidden gem - a small menu of amazing food - the staff are super friendly and were willing to accommodate our needs. I don’t normally leave reviews but it was that good I felt compelled to!

   The food was so tasty and full of flavor, and the service couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere is relaxed but still really nice – perfect for enjoying a good meal. Marcos was brilliant, super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend and one I’ll be coming back to!

   My mum and I had a fabulous meal at Nanay rose last weekend. The couple that runs the restaurant are so lovely and it’s reflected in the food they cook and the warmth with which they welcome their guests. We had the adobo fried chicken and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD along with the smash burger, Cajun fries and jasmine rice. Everything is made fresh, so even though the food takes a bit long it’s absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend this little gem in Merton abbey mills. I truly believe we need to show up more for small local businesses and Nanay Rosa is one place I will be coming back to over and over again. Keep up the great work guys!

   An absolutely amazing lunch experience! The lovely couple who run this restaurant even opened 30 minutes early just to accommodate us—such a kind gesture. Every dish we tried was exceptional. I’m from the Philippines and deeply love our cuisine, but the chef created such incredible versions of traditional dishes that truly impressed me. The adobo fried chicken was a standout—tender, full of flavour, perfectly crispy, and paired with an incredible sauce. The cucumber salad was fresh and balanced everything beautifully. My friend had the beef tapa burger, and it was a delightful surprise! The patty tasted exactly like authentic beef tapa (which we usually eat with garlic rice), but served as a burger—it was creative, bold, and delicious. My husband had the mushroom adobo, which was rich, hearty, and full of depth. To finish, we were treated to a surprise serving of avocado ice cream—a lovely and refreshing touch that wrapped up the meal perfectly. We also had the chance to chat with the owners, and their passion, creativity, and love for what they do truly shines through—not just in the food, but also in the presentation and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone!

   Great food. Incredible taste. Loved the atmosphere, very kind staff. He showed us all the menu, explained us all the options. He even let us try something we were not sure about. Fair prices. Very rare to find such a good place. I highly recommend them .

   Very friendly staff. I love the stone ware they use for presentation. Food is delicious and filling. Comfort food if you're in the area. Merton Mills is a cosy space for local shops. I had the pork bowl and the vegan spring rolls, which were adorable. I would have ordered another if I wasn't full from the main dish already.

   Absolutely delicious food, best fried chicken I had in a long time. We had 2 specials, fried chicken burger and the special adobo and their fried wings. Would love to have their dessert next time as well and excited to find that they change their menus quite often with specials! Very friendly staffs and great price. Will definitely be making this my regular spot

   The atmosphere here was so lovely and calming, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and truly passionate about what they do. You can tell how much thought and love has gone into the food and recipes. We especially loved the fried chicken, skewers, cassava cake and dairy free avocado ice cream! Everything is reasonably priced too so 10/10 recommend

   First time here.. and wow... Super friendly service. Asked for specials and had some incredible off-menu wings that they had been experimenting with. Incredible. And the main items on the menu are real soul food - straight the heart. Will definitely be back. Specials are normally Friday nights and weekends. (And for me Wednesday evening coz they are incredible) Yummers alert.
