   Myself and Clare went to Bar and Block Sutton on a Tuesday afternoon in the pre-Christmas week. We were 1 of 3 parties there. Service was very good, however, the cleanliness was a little lacking. Clare had to ask for the table to be wiped down and the table to our left had not been cleaned at all. The service was good was drinks arriving quickly. I had a Pornstar Martini which came with a slice of lemon instead of passion fruit. I also had their Bublé tini. The food was was very nice and a good serving size. I would recommend a careful read if the menu before ordering. For example,The menu advertised 2 for 1 on cocktails but doesn't say they have to be the same cocktail. Our bill totalled £124 for 2 people making this an expensive lunch.

   I've never written a review before but after the experience I've just had it's the least I could do. I visited Bar + Block in Sutton and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jessie, who was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Jessie anticipated our needs effortlessly and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. She knew the menu inside out and gave spot on recommendations. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet genuinely personable, she really elevated the entire dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Jessie again.

   A real mixed bag after reading the reviews my wife booked for father's day. To be fair the service was very good we had a waitress called jess that made sure we were looked after with drinks. Average wait for the starters and mains. This is when it went downhill for me the kids meals were fine to be fair but the mains which were sirloin roast were awful. It's a real shame as not really much excuse as the restaurant was very quiet 15 odd people in. The meat was grey and very overcooked like chewing on and and leather leather boot. We both sent our food back and had it removed from the bill.    Lovely staff. Steak was more well cooked than “medium”. Fries weren’t salted which is ok for people who can’t consume salt I suppose, and fortunately salt available was on the table. Lovely Tiramisu Martini. Mango & Passionfruit Mojito was good but could have been mixed more thoroughly beforehand. Wanted to try their Onion Rings but they didn’t couldn’t swap out the chips for it (even though both of them are the same £4 price) because it will mess up their stocks (I was informed). Overall an OK experience but a little short of the mark for the price.

   Came here for early dinner and drinks with my partner before we went out for the evening. Was quiet as it was a weekday, so we were sat quickly on a table near the kitchen. Very cosy booth, loved the Christmas decorations! A lovely lady called Jess took our order, I had the salmon and my partner had the pork, and we shared some sides. They were out of the onion rings, but the lovely chefs made us homemade ones instead!! Such a nice touch. The food was lovely and we had some cocktails once we were finished. Absolutely can’t fault the service, everyone was so welcoming and attentive! Will definitely be back, hopefully to try the festive menu which looks delicious.
