A great diner especially if you love aircraft. When we went there was nothing flying but we had loads of fun looking around the old wrecks off aircraft. The food is really nice and reasonably priced. I reckons booking a table of you are going art the weekend as when we went they were all booked, we were lucky and managed to grab the last available table, this was at about 10.30.

Great day out. Interesting cold was jets. Police chopper and of course Belugas. Also just today Spitfire experience flights. North can match the sound of a RR Merlin at full throttle.

Great spot for watching the Beluga but very little other traffic into Hawarden unless there's a stop over for an airshow. The cafe has plenty of seating inside and out, a kids play area and access to Beluga bank for the best views of takeoffs from runway 04. Tables can be reserved. While the service was friendly, it was slow. Perhaps the omelette was low priority as others ordering full English were served, finished and out the door before our order arrived. Also, the white coffee came without milk but, to be fair, it was busy at the time, mistakes happen. The quality of food was good and prices very reasonable especially considering there's nothing else in the area. The car parking is also free so is a far cheaper alternative day out to Manchester! The Beluga itself is an amazing aircraft and watching it take off and land is impressive . Before you arrive, check the times on the Beluga Hawarden Facebook page or Flight Radar. There's generally no flights on weekends or bank holidays . If youre doing a land away from another airport, it's one of the best airfield cafes I've been to. If Hawarden is your home airfield, it's a nice spot for a cuppa and flight planning ....or escaping to when the weather grounds you!

Went here for the Porsche planes and cars event. Great day out, diner is very nice with eating in and out, staff were friendly and its family friendly. We didn't have any food apart from a coffee and slice of cake but we wouldn't of hesitated to order any food as it appears clean, and we'll managed. Staff appeared organised and not stressed under pressure as it was quite busy. Would recommend a visit and will be visiting again.

Nice food in an interesting location. The food was good and there was plenty of it. We didn't book but I think it might be advisable as I got the impression it gets quite busy. The staff were helpful and we didn't have to wait long for the food and everything on the menu wasn't badly priced. There are some interesting old aeroplanes dotted around on the drive to the diner and a couple by the entrance, which are great to have a little look around.with this being located on a private airport you do need to stop at security and give you name but this is no big deal once you are past security it is well sign posted which is helpful as this is a big site.

Friendly welcome. Massive choice of food. Display was very tempting. We had poached eggs with crispy bacon on avacado toast with roasted tomatoes. Delicious! Only minor comment is that the tomatoes were cold & they would have been nicer hot. But it didn't stop me enjoying my breakfast. Can't wait to come again!

A nice discovery! A vast choice of food. I loved the English Breakfast XL I got the XL and a cup of tea for under £10. Delicious but XL was a bit too much for my stomach to handle . It comes up with 4 toasts, 3 sausages, 2 bacons, tomato , hash brown, black pudding. Plus if you are lucky you can spot the Beluga XL taking off. Direct view on runway. I recommend

Lovely food, slightly expensive but would expect it being a cafe. Great to watch the planes take off and land. We went on a day the Red Arrows were there which was pleasant suprise so stayed to watch them take off and land. Good outdoor seating and play area.

Called in today for a Big breakfast while the wife was busy. What a cracking Café/Diner. I wanted a seat by a window but it was reserved due to them being busy. I explained I wasn't staying long so they allowed me to sit there. Nice view of the planes taking off and arriving. My food was nice and arrived promptly. You can see the chef's cooking in the back nice and tidy kitchen. Great work staff keep up the good work. If I lived closer I would come here every weekend.
