   This restaurant offers a clean and comfortable setting. The menu has good variety to choose from. Food is served hot and tastes delicious. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Worth visiting again.

   I visited Antika recently and was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The starters, in particular, were outstanding — fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavour (Specially the Borani and Olivieh and not so much for the Dolma). You could tell real thought went into how each dish was prepared and presented. From the textures to the seasoning, everything tasted refined and made with care. The main courses were equally delicious, with generous portions(Taking into account the concept of the restaurant) and a noticeable focus on ingredient quality. On the culinary side, the kitchen clearly delivers excellence. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the service. The staff seemed inexperienced and undertrained, which affected the entire dining experience. Our order was taken incorrectly, and one dish arrived 13 minutes later than the others. The waiters, while polite, appeared unsure of basic service flow — things like timing, order accuracy, and attentiveness were noticeably lacking. It felt as though they had little to no prior experience working in a restaurant, and that lack of training showed throughout the evening. Overall, this is a place with incredible food but underwhelming service. If management invested in properly training the front-of-house staff to match the professionalism of the kitchen, this restaurant could truly stand out. The talent in the kitchen deserves better support from the service team — once that gap is closed, it has the potential to be a top-tier dining spot.

   The food was absolutely delicious, octopus was the highlight for me, baba ganoush and truffle hummus were very nice too. Great selection of wine. The saffron pistachio ice cream was nice but perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste. Service wasn’t the warmest but will 100% go back, especially with 50% off food via the fork booking offer!

   We came here for an informal meal to mark my youngest daughter’s birthday who also happens to have some allergies. We were very compassionately taken care of and the service was completely impeccable. Great tasting swiftly served meals with good portion sizes. I would recommend anyone to experience Antika with its cozy ambience and service. Everything from the Lamb chops to the lamb shanks were wonderful. Also the food was HALAL! The whole family enjoyed the experience, thank you once again to the staff.

   We spent Valentine’s night here and really enjoyed ourselves. The lamb on the lamb skewers was really tender and delicious. The smoked aubergine was great with a really tasty cheese paste. The bread and butter for the starter was pitta bread and butter which was unexpected but overall the meal was delicious, reasonably priced and in a lovely atmosphere.

   Had a great lunch at Antika. Excellent, welcoming and friendly service. The room is beautiful and they have few tables for outside dining as well. We had only 35 minutes time for lunch but that was no problem for the kitchen. Fantastic high quality Middle Eastern and Persian dishes on the menu. Very happy to have this new local restaurant in Maida Vale. Cannot wait to have dinner there!

   Such an amazing restaurant, food and team! Really happy it opened in the area. Celebrated my birthday there and couldn’t find a better place. Every single guest of mine was praising the food and we are all big foodies. Thanks a lot to Émilie for being the best. Definitely will be back soon and not once. Personal recommendations: octopus, risotto, meat platter and go crazy with cold and warm starters.

   Wonderful new local restaurant, lovely food, great service, good drinks list. We sat out on the terrace for dinner which was really enjoyable. There was a good selection of cold & hot tapas as well as meals - the lamb was delicious! We'll be back ;-)
