   Zero stars. As it is local restaurant at my area, I have decided to give a try. Really shocking. Even to share my experience makes me do not feel comfortable. There are only few really good restaurants on High street so far. And it is not one of them. Good places always are full of customers. Really I should not pay for my falafel at all as I have been shocked by this restaurant hygiene and safety standards work plac and poor( I'm just trying to be polite) customer service. So it's not freshly made food at all as well.

   best falafel and sabich! balady was recommended to me by a friend and gosh is it tasty!! so warm and fresh, not too oily and so light! i can’t wait to go back nor can i believe it is so nearby!

   Chips was burnt , I asked the in brackets cook about them he tried to lie and say they was fine , the manager agreed they was way overlooked , as a chef/ cook you should have more pride in letting plates out the kitchen to the customer in the condition what I received . The falafel wrap was poor also , I asked for all the vegetables available , the cook decided he wouldn't only a little lettuce and gherkin , I asked and was told it was in fact all put in as I asked , I had to open up and show the cook, he was lying , so he added was I asked for then. The wrap was it was average at best and very oily, I just don't understand why the cook would like about burnt chips and then not put the ingredients I asked for in the wrap , clearly he's a pathological liar or something wrong with him ? I am baffled . Lastly fridge where the drinks were kept was not working correctly so cans was slightly colder than room temperature, I wish google allowed me to give zero stars because this place would receive 0 ! . I am very disappointed in the whole experience and its a shame as I love to promote vegan/ vegetarian restaurants. Disappointed .

   Balady Barnet is amazing! We had the falafel in pitta, cauliflower shawarma and chips and it was all delicious. Great selection of drinks too. Staff are also wonderful and very helpful, in particular Leon. Will definitely make it a regular place to go to :)
