   We had a lovely breakfast here before doing the stadium tour at Liverpool FC. It was fresh and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful as we were visiting from down south. A hidden gem!

   Really nice gem of a cafe in Stanley Park. Plenty of seating space available. Staff are very friendly and on top of clearing tables and cleaning up the cafe as the day goes. Prices were very reasonable and the portion size was more than adequate. The steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, I would happily order that again. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

   Nice little cafe, which gets really busy during lunchtime. This is the second time I've come here, and it doesn't disappoint. Came here Friday with my friend, and we both had the Welsh Rarebit with mushrooms on soda bread and a portion of their homemade thick cut chips, which was delicious!! We also had a pot of tea and a latte. Will definitely be returning soon to try something else to eat!!

   theislagladstone.co.uk Cafe in the Park is a nice venue, but the service this afternoon was very poor, primarily because it was clearly understaffed. The staff member taking the orders at the till was also preparing drinks and serving to tables. Quite clearly she was doing her best but resulted in long wait for orders to be delivered to table. Would have been better serving each customer at point of ordering. Think management need to review their staffing levels as a matter of urgency. I will visit again and see if improvements have been made.

   This is a great hidden little gem of a place. Very reasonable prices and everything cooked to order. It's not a massive menu, but it's well judged and I tend to prefer limited choice and better execution. All the food ordered was very tasty and went down very well. They also do great cooked breakfast here, again reasonably priced. There is free parking and quite a bit of it. Once you've had your fill you can even take a turn around the gardens.
