   I waited 2 hours for my food to come from this place. I called a few times to check and they said it was on the way so I waited but after 50 minutes of it being “on the way” (this restaurant is ten mins from me) I still had no food. I called again to ask how long it would be and was very polite but was met with an incredibly rude response from an incredibly rude and patronising woman! Very upsetting as I’ve never experienced this from happy swan before. Will not be ordering again. Makes it even more ridiculous seeing as when my food did arrive, my £9 broccoli had three pieces in it!

   Ordered on a Tuesday evening, waited an hour and a half for food and nothing, I spent 10 minutes trying to call only to get different types of answering machine messsges, eventually someone picked up and after checking said our food was just being cooked! So in total 2 hours wait. After expressing my disappointment the lady on the phone said they were really sorry and they have regular meetings about this type of thing and would bring it up. But after reading some of the other reviews I can see that the waiting time has not improved despite this. In my opinion if you’re overwhelmed with orders maybe stop taking them for a while or warn customers before they’ve ordered and paid it’s going to be a long wait.

   This has been out favourite Chinese restaurant for over 15 years. We've never had a disappointing experience. They are cheerful and friendly and the food is consistently delicious. I’ve edited this to add that the original owners sold up and moved on some time ago and I don’t like the food from the new management as much.

   Had our first try - takeaway, ordered direct easily with them & it came quickly. Only a small order and we got extras which was a lovely touch. All good, chow mien was a bit plain, but the rest was delicious. Can recommend you try them- do go direct!

   Ordered a take away was told forty five to 50 minutes. Went to shop was ten minutes and they tried to deliver it before. Cold food prawn balls were open and two short ribs were dry and tasteless.Chowmein was horrible. Curry sauce looked like happy waste pricy and dislike

   There are only three Chinese places in the area which I will eat from, and this one is reaching up to be my first. They do some good vegan options and are happy to accommodate you. Lady on the phone is always so nice

   I have been using this takeaway for nearly 20 years and I have always loved them, I think they have a new cook, I had my usual chicken chow mien with extra onions, I had loads of slightly cooked onions, 3 small pieces of chicken in the whole box and it had no taste - so bland, I am so sad, I love the owners but the quality has dropped. I am not going back - the cost has gone up and the quality has gone down.
