   I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Indian restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding – rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic Indian spices and cooked to perfection. Special mention goes to the butter chicken and garlic naan – both were unforgettable! One thing that stood out was the quick and efficient service. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, our food was served promptly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The overall environment was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, adding to the dining experience without being over the top. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

   As a local curry house I guess it serves the purpose for a evening out with pals and should certainly be considered but I wouldn’t come here if I was on the lookout for great food. We went on a Friday evening without a reservation, the staff accommodated us and were great throughout. The place was buzzing with people and had a good vibe. We ended up ordering a mushroom starter, which lacked flavour, and a tandoori lamb starter, that hardly had any meat on it. In mains we ordered a stuffed chicken curry, which wasn’t my favourite, and also lamb balti twice - the first batch was good but the second one was laced with sugar. The best thing we had all evening was the hot stuffed naan.

   Sunday lunch buffet has always been consistently good quality and adequate for the help yourself diner . Flavour is how I love it and blows supermarket copies out of the window. You can't beat the Curry Leaf! A must try for those who want to taste what they are eating rather than so spicy, it no longer tastes like meat. Small comment ...the restaurant looks closed. Should the blinds be open, it would possibly bring in more patrons. Otherwise, five stars all round. Thank you for your positive contribution to Old Coulsdon.

   Pre ordered a takeaway at 1630 for delivery at start of evening service at 1830 The system advised a slight delay but that really was slight, three minutes (but nice to be advised) Food arrived well packaged, hot and great portion sizes. It was absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing. Whilst costs for restaurants have increased massively, prices have not been over inflated and this was great value. It made a dull Sunday evening at home into something special. I normally eat in here, there was no reduction in quality or portion size on the delivery. Love this is a local business and happy to recommend it to anyone eating in or out.
