   Been coming here for a while and it always delivers. A warm welcome as soon as you enter is guaranteed.    It was our first visit despite we have just moved in to the lovely neighbourhood almost a year ago. Absolutely a hidden gem! Lovely food, huge shoutout to Era who was the friendly server of the evening. She’s this contagious smile and actively engage conversations with the customers , ensuring we are all happy with the food. Defo will revisit soon x

   Food was super tasty which is why it pains me to leave 1 star … But, the service (or lack thereof) was horrendous and totally ruined the mood. The lone waitress looked like she would’ve rather watched paint dry and was just short of rolling her eyes any time she was expected to actually serve a table. She could clearly only do one task at a time so I’d have hated to see the service if it was busy. She was unfriendly to the point of being rude, and waited silently with her hand out to be handed side plates, rather than picking them up off the table. We felt like *we* were inconveniencing *her* to have to do her job. I asked her to remove the service charge from the bill which was met with, ‘why? What was wrong?’ And when I said the service was slow I just received a curt, ‘oh’, without an apology before she walked off. Very disappointing and would put me off coming back.

   I had a great time at "Amiga", the food was delicious, the pork belly tacos were excellent, and the drinks were to die for! I had a spicy margarita and a mezcal drink plus some shots of spirits I didn't know and were amazing. Thanks Matthew for the brilliant service, and the great chat!

   Nice atmosphere in there and good service. I would say the food is a little on the steep side though and didn’t blow our world away with flavour. It was all just alright. Would go back for a drink and some nibbles but probably not a full meal

   My friends and I came here last night for dinner. We shared the nachos and then each tried the pork, chicken and fish tacos. Really tasty food and the frozen peach margarita was yummy too!

   We stepped in for a bite to eat after a flight home. The owner was on hand to greet us and we got chatted about tequila. Very knowledgable and we tasted a tequila and another Mexican drink. For food we had the nachos to share and then we tried the beef and chicken tacos. Food was great hospitality was great . We will certainly be back! Thanks

   Very disappointing after a recommendation. Arrived, no one to greet us. Barman was on his phone, sat there for 5 minutes before the waiter came in from outside at which point we were just about to leave. Order the Avocado starter and Tuna tartare. Avacado was just smashed with tortilla chips.... Nothing else boring and over priced. Tuna mixed of fresh and non fresh. Tuna should be pink not grey. Smelt very fishy and tasted wrong, sent it back. Didn't order mains.

   My friend and I stumbled on Amiga for a quiet drink on a Tuesday night. Our hostess was warm and welcoming and so was the owner. When the owner overheard that we enjoyed a good Tequila, he came over and gave us a master class in Tequila, Mescal, and shared a lot about his time travelling around Mexico. It was a such a fantastic and authentic experience, that we ended up staying for dinner. We tasted many excellent Tequilas, Mezcals, and cocktails. The barman was good fun and makes brilliant cocktails. I highly recommend the Amiga Old Fashioned, the spicy El Cartel, Senõrita Margarita, and Tequila Overslept Sunrise. We ate Nachos, Barbacoa Beef Tacos and some Quesadillas. The waitress was warm and friendly (and as delicious as the tasty food she served us). A Great overall atmosphere and experience. We look forward to returning to this place soon.
