Few of the items I wanted to order were not available e.g. dum pukht, chicken roast, chicken roast with rice. I ordered chapli kabab (3 kababs, salad, large naan and chutney) Β£18, half chicken karahi Β£20, 5 wings Β£6, fries Β£3 and water Β£250. The quantity was generous. Kabab were tasty. Chicken Karahi was Okaish. Most of the restaurant was empty and the environment was not very lively. My bill was 49.50. It was not outstanding to be recommended by me.

The kabli pilau is the reason to visit! They also do a great charsi chicken, the masala fish (starter) is good, and the naans are huge!! Another Halal gem in Tooting.

Took my mum for a quick bite as we've not tried this restaurant before. I ordered lamb charsi karahi, charsi chapli kebab and a nan - food was very flavoursome. Mum enjoyed her meal too.

Delay in food arriving starters arrived with mains well over 30 minutes. The place is not scrupuosly kept clean. There was broken glass on floor which at my request was swept up and there was a dead fly on the floor. Lots of flying insects come in at night which is off putting. Food is generally cooked good and tasty although not impressesd with lamb seekh kebab which were too thick in texture and too much ginger taste.

Sunday night, restaurant was empty, service was friendly, buy food took forever to arrive. Chicken and lamb seekh kebab were frozen- not fresh + dry and bitter. Chicken tikka was blazing with black pepper- dont get any of those, ended up being inedible. Stick to CHAPLI KEBAB, maybe a lamb curry dish, and their afghan pilao are pretty decent. Something called chicken dampukht was a mess on a plate (dont get that). Nothing arrived properly- half appetizers first with naan, then half mains, then more appetizers, then the final main dish after everyone was done eating and the bread had gone cold. Most of the items were out of stock including all desserts.

They’re an established restaurant with excellent food BUT THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. Please bring plenty of cash with you while coming here as they don’t accept any sort of plastics.

Just got back after birthday dinner with my son, first time visiting, and we live 5 mins away, went with reviews kabali pilao, rice ... with lamb on bone underneath, and lamb korai, and the bread, the flavours were like nothing I've ever tasted, hot, but also sweet, almost undescribable and delicious, will definitely be back, may have the mixed kebab next time which comes up sizzling.you first get the dish of salad and 2 sauces and a jug of water ( this is a nice touch) we brought a some back in a container, as we had so much and at a fair price. overall it was a great experience and I will definitely recommend to anyone to go there.
