Roast Beef was the best Iβve had! Every item on the plate had an individual taste and was delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

What a great little pub, the only reason I marked down for atmosphere is because we went at lunchtime , so maybe not as lively as in the evening. We sat in the dining area but the rest of the pub was busy. The food was delicious, hot and the batter on my chicken was perfect. Another bonus hot pork scratchings! Shouldnβt have had them before are ample dinners! The staff were so friendly and itβs reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend

Hidden Gem in the Countryside Had a great lunch at the Wattenden Arms, tucked away in the countryside β a real hidden gem! The interior is beautiful, decorated in greens with a theme paying homage to the RAF. Traditional British favourites, perfectly executed β my fish and chips were flawless, and the freshly baked treacle pudding was incredible. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. Delicious food, friendly service, and a relaxed, stylish spot β highly recommend!

Great Historic Pub next to Kenley Aerodrome. Custom menu, not a chain. Really lovely staff and food. Will def come again. If you're in RAF history, losts of picture and memorabilia.

Tucked away in the Surrey Hills within the M25, it was a busy place at Sunday lunchtime. The place wasn't as big as I thought it might be but it has a big heart. A Locals pub welcoming visitors from anywhere. Staff friendly and efficient. Good Sunday roast choices. Good size portions. Well cooked. Sunday night quiz and meat raffle too!

Terrible terrible service. I have been going to this pub for more than 7 years, last night (29/12/22) I went in for a drink and the girl at the bar was extremely rude. We were polite and courteous and she told us she doesnβt get paid for being nice / she only gets paid by the hour. She ignored us when queuing for a drink - talking to what appeared to be her sister and then was rude again when we asked if the pub was still serving food. This has always been a great pub but it seems like things have been going downhill - particularly regarding staff.

Sunday Roasts used to be amazing now awful. Rump of lamb you can't cut let alone eat. Veg is hard, gravy is slightly coloured water & roast potatoes are either frozen or need to see an oven. Definitely won't be going back.

I reserved a table. When we arrived the 3 of us were the only ones in the pub. On my reservation I added that we wanted 2 vegetarian roasts. After 10 minutes of taking our order we were told they didn't have enough vegetarian roasts. We were offered no alternative, the staff seemed uninterested that we had booked based on the menu and travelled to eat there. No help or suggestions offered. I asked for a full refund. The table we sat at was very sticky, which was unpleasant I love cats but thought it was unhygienic to have one sitting on the bar rubbing itself on an open box of donuts. On a more positive note the photos and local history displayed on the walls was really interesting. Free parking is given if you add your car reg on the tablet in the bar. In response to the reply from the manager..... Yes you did come and speak to us about 10 minutes after I was given the refund and just as we were leaving. You did apologise and said you were disappointed in how the staff had dealt with it as they offered no alternatives. You did then tell us that there may have been something else on the menu we could have had, which would have been nice to know before we had googled other pubs nearby. You were helpful then and suggested a couple of other pubs with the same menu. However, we were not left with enough time to get to those places, eat and then reach our appointment. We had chosen your places due to location and the menu as it looked great. No problem, we found somewhere else to eat and had a great meal, with good customer service.
