   Not sure I understand some of the reviews of this restaurant. My brother and I do not speak a word of Portuguese but the staff couldn’t have tried harder to make us feel welcome. Very generous portions and mains cooked on a fire and were delicious. We had a steak (huge, tasty and came with rice and salad) and a seafood stew (grilled squid, mussels, claims and king prawns with boiled potatoes and a lovely tomato and onion broth). Enormous serving of passion fruit cheesecake at the end (£5) and the flans and île flottantes looked great too (we were too full to do more than share a desert). With wine, beer, sparkling water and coffee the bill came to £65. Very reasonable for the portion size and quality. Would totally recommend.

   If You looking for excellent Portuguese Food and a family and friendly restaurant this is definitely the choice. Possible my best Portuguese Food I had in years for a portuguese myself was like home, generous portions and fair price. The service was nothing less than outstanding either, the 2 ladys serving on that day (21/07/2024) were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Definitely will return.

   The experience was not as great , Sofia as a waiter was amazing but the rest or the staff not as kind. They didn’t great us when we came in and didn’t give the usual such as bread and many more. We ordered food but had to send back as the stake was not cooked as how we wanted .

   I Ben into this restaurant many times wat always been very good but today I'm very disappointed I ask for starters they forgot then my meat was not fresh by the smell People in the kitchen they need to read the order before start cooking the menkal And they have to serve fresh food Toke 90m for may meet to be ready and that's what openigs They need more staff

   Great service and good atomsphere. Food is tasty. Excellent customer service friendly Portuguese waitress. Wine list excellent. Enjoyed the house wine....Seabass delicious and the Portuguese mixed grill...on the menu some traditional dishes are only cooked and served on weekends sonread carefully...recently refurbished light and airy.
