We went for our anniversary. We really liked the style of the restaurant—it was very nice. We were seated, but they forgot to bring us water. Then they brought us a plate of tacos we didn’t order (they had the wrong table). Our food came out very quickly, even before the drinks we had ordered. We had to ask for water ourselves. The food is quite expensive for the portion sizes they offer. The tables are very close together, and to get to your seat, you have to bother the people at the next table. It’s not a quiet place to eat, as there are a lot of tables and everyone is shouting. You basically have to yell to have a conversation with your date. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Did I need a posh Mexican? No, but then this is the West End... I work in the area and never saw them open at lunch so jumped when I saw them open today. The flavours were fresh, delicious, and the quality excellent. Really enjoyed a proper chunky quesadilla. The Tommy's Margarita was perfect and the fish taco fresh and good. Best of all however we're the staff, I'd go there just to hang out with them. That's how nice, human, and friendly they were. The ambience makes this a better spot for dinner (I wouldn't come back for lunch unless they had a food deal), but I'm sure it is a swanky little spot if you're out in the evenings. Bit pricey for Mexican food but I'm sure it's worth it for the ambience.

I stopped by this taco spot after a shopping trip. The service was fine and the food came out quickly, which is a plus if you’re looking for something casual and fast. I ordered the crispy squid, tacos (beef, chicken, and fish), and the sea bass ceviche. The crispy squid was decent the pink sauce it came with definitely helped enhance the flavor. Out of the tacos, the chicken was the best; the beef and fish were okay but nothing special. The ceviche, unfortunately, wasn’t my favorite the lemon flavor was too overpowering and masked the other ingredients. Overall, it’s a decent place for a quick bite, especially if you’re not expecting anything too remarkable. The food is alright, but nothing that stands out.

Came here on a whim with a friend after craving something savoury post-dessert and I’m so glad we did. We weren’t that hungry, but the tacos blew us away. Super fresh, authentic flavours (those corn tortillas were amazing) felt like someone’s grandma had fed me. I had the fish, my friend had the chicken, both delicious. The vibe is chill, the staff are lovely, and shoutout to Connor behind the bar super attentive and clearly loves what he does. We ended up calling another friend to join us because we were having such a good time. She got the sea bass ceviche and was just as impressed. Later we headed downstairs where a DJ was playing great music, great energy, felt like a real community vibe. Definitely my new go to for an after work drink or quick bite. Some reviews complain about portion sizes, but this place is about quality over quantity. For central London, the price is great and the food’s the real deal. Plus, £1 tacos when you order a cocktail? Say less. We’ll be back for sure.

A great experience, you walk in to what is displayed as an adult shop very funny and exciting. Once downstairs it is a cosy and private restaurant with a good atmosphere. The service is excellent but unfortunately the main let down is the food. The food is average at best, very small portions and very expensive. But, the cocktails are gorgeous. I would go back, but it would be with a group of people as it is more about the atmosphere than the food.

This place is quite ok for cocktails and cake. As an overall experience I would say this was a roller coaster. They had tables free but they didn’t want to seat two people on them so they placed us in the bar. Not a great start of the evening. Some of their cocktails were quite watery and mediocre for the price they charge. They good portions are quite the joke. I’d honestly not even bother. Nothing unique or worthy of the visit. They chocolate cafe was quite nice so I’d give credit there but apart from that …

Loved Bodega Negra - great atmosphere and decor here. They had an awesome happy hour from 4-7pm, every Monday to Friday, where 2 margaritas were £15, which was a great deal. I had both the regular margarita and the hibiscus margarita. Both were delicious but the hibiscus was a showstopper. We had the guacamole to start, as well as the prawn tostada - both were excellent and good portions. We finished with the lamb taco, which came with two small tacos, and had amazing flavour. Would definitely come back and would be a great date spot!

Absolutely love love loved this place. Highly recommend. The atmosphere, service and music was great. Really fun night out. Cocktails and food were also amazing. Best Mexican food I've had in London. Great place for a group wanting good food and fun vibes.

What a cool restaurant! Not only was the vibe unique but the food was SO good. There was a vast selection of cocktails and tequila to add to your meal. It felt like you were transported o Mexico for the night. Make sure to book as bookings full up quick.
