   As usual, I enjoyed my visit since I often come here with my friends. The food was good, especially the Turkish bread, and the place is beautiful and comfortable. The only downside was the music, which was a bit annoying. Overall, a nice experience.

   This is an awesome spot for Turkish cuisine! The flatbreads, tzatziki, chilli and olives, turkish black tea etc… all complimentary. Chicken shish (chunks look small but were quite big) was divine, as you’d expect from a charcoal grill. Attentive service, maybe a little too much staring at times but can’t fault it. We went out of our way to come here and weren’t disappointed!

3. Experimental Me ★★★☆☆

   A chipped plate prevented me to give a full nice 5 star. I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but unfortunately my experience fell short. While the food was very good, flavourful and not at all greasy, and the Turkish beer was particularly enjoyable, the service had some significant issues despite the restaurant being quiet at 5 pm. The staff were friendly, though one seemed unfamiliar with the menu and couldn’t adequately describe the dishes when asked. More concerning was being served food on a plate with a large chip in it. This is a basic oversight that really shouldn’t happen and made me question the attention to detail in the kitchen. When I pointed out the chipped plate, the waitress apologised, but the male server who had originally served me never acknowledged the issue, even when I went to pay. By that point, I’m certain he would have known about my complaint, so the lack of any apology or acknowledgment felt dismissive and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. The music was a bunch of cheesy pop covers a bit too loud. The decor was good and I’m really picky. I’ve just moved to the area and was hoping this could become a regular spot, but this experience has left me hesitant to return. Shame.

   We came to Hala Wood Green Restaurant as a group of 7 friends and had an amazing time! The food was fresh, full of flavor, and served quickly even though we were a big group. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a meal together. A big thank you to SAMET for looking after us so well—he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. His service really made the experience special. Highly recommend Hala Wood Green for both small and large groups—we’ll definitely be coming back!

   5 stars are not enough for this place! Amazing place. To start with ambience- great ambience, a bit loud but the great service and amazing food outweighs it. Beautiful tables lit with candles. About food, everything that we tried in this restaurant was ultimate and super amazing. The person serving our table was humble and wonderful. Desserts are spot on. Good portion and good wine selections. Can’t fault it. It’s a must try. Thank you for making our dinner evening so pleasant.

   Had a dinner with some friends and very lucky to find a parking spot right outside the restaurant which is free after 18:30. I have not had a Turkish meal like this for a long time and this restaurant was amazing. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked just right, the meat was very fresh and not dry at all, it was full of flavour. BE WORNED the sharing dish are massive. The 2 person one can feed 3 easily. You will get loads of bread and salad with the main. This place is a great place to hang round with friends.

   We really enjoyed our meal this evening. The service by Mohammad was absolutely outstanding. He was really professional, well done to him. By the way we ordered Salmon main course which was really delicious with potatoes. Lovely food. Will definitely come back again to Hala.

   I’ve been here many time before, first time coming here since the pandemic. A lot has changed but the food is still as great as before. Service is quick and friendly. Prices have gone up but that was to be expected with the current climate. Food was great, sarma beyti was delicious and the calamari. First time trying manti and I loved it. Thanks again for a lovely evening and all the Turkish teas!

   Nice salad and you can actually taste the carrots. Bread was fresh and had lovely taste. The mains came with rice which wasn’t too bad but meat could have been better. Although lamb stew cooked with vegetables was very tender. Good decor and family atmosphere.
