   Finally managed to try this restaurant after living in the area for over a year. It's highly recommended by the local community and has won a number of awards over the years. All very well deserved. It was a lovely experience, it felt like being in your friend's living room. We were made to feel at home and ate a delicious meal at the end of a really tiring week. I can't wait to go back.

   What an amazing hidden gem. Well, not that hidden, but easily missed. Cosy and home cooked style dining and one of the best curries I've had in a long time. Try their specialty dishes, don't stay in your comfort zone of a masala or korma. Look for the dishes that have 'Himalayan' in the description and do yourself a favour! Looking forward to going again.

   This place is fantastic. It has a true family run feel, with very friendly staff who say hello and make you feel very welcome. The food is simply incredible. The Scottish salmon tikka starter is off the hook, and both the chilli paneer and king prawn tikka masala mains were top tier. If you’re looking for a dinner option near Crystal Palace, don’t sleep on this place.

   The food is good. I opted for extra hot Himalayan mismas Karachi. It wasn’t extra hot for me but this may be due to my tolerance. The roti wasn’t what I expected but it was okay nonetheless. The seafood thali is divine and the portion size is generous. It could be enough for two. We ordered from their site - which is cash only - the delivery driver was friendly and pleasant. All the food came clearly labelled and the food was piping hot. The mango chutney is delicious.

   These guys are really friendly and run a good business. The curry is what keeps me coming back though. They do a smokey brinjal bhaji which is top tier and always ordered. Usually its a very good curry but occasionally its the best curry there is. It's in the BIR style so lots of recognisable dishes but with a bit more depth of flavour and quality than you would typically get elsewhere. The other nepalese fare is really good too. Excellent vegetarian options, we typically don't order meat dishes as the vegetarian food is so good. Hari Bari kebab, paneer shashlick, saag paneer, dhaals are all recommended. Sometimes can take up to an hour on busy nights, but just order an hour before you want it and then its fine! Always arrives hot.

   Loved it until today.. Ordered a good few times and left great reviews, today unfortunately was awful, hairs in food as you can see in the picture, was accused of placing the hairs! Absolutely disgusting service, will never order again!!

   We ordered a takeaway from Himalayan Kitchen last evening and were very pleased. The food was really good and it was delivered hot and quickly. We would definitely recommend Himalayan Kitchen to others. Next time we’re going to make a reservation to eat-in.

   What a little gem we have found! Lamb momo are amazing, prawn puri was the best we’re ever had. Then there was the main. I couldn’t eat all of mine. But it was so good. Portions at perfect. And what a lovely family! We can’t wait to go back
