   Song que (my excellent regular restaurant was closed) so I took a risk with this one. Service poor, I wondered if anyone had any idea how to serve a customer, passing soup diagonally across a table when they did not need to, and if it spilt it would go all over the table, this happened with several different waiters. Being ordered to put the menus tidily on the side of the table by an ancient waiter, who i was told sometimes gets rather tired ; when I asked for cutlery for us all it was it was put down on the table all together in front of me; no visible manager; a very noisy group of 7, 20--30 years old who were getting plastered,( we could not hear ourselves speak); served my crispy roast duck pancakes in a sealed plastic pack that had just come out of the microwave.....safe plastic or not, i have no idea. Completely tasteless duck, no spices or herbs added to enhance whatever flavour...air conditioning blew hot and cold throughout. Took 15 mins to tell me that the vegetable pancakes rolls were had run out. Waiters tried but had no idea.....

   This is your spot for great authentic Vietnamese food. The food is really amazing and most of the visitors are asian what for me is a great sign. The place isn't the most romantic but if you want to impress with food give this a go.

   i sat down at mien tay expecting great food and those expectations were still surpassed. me and my dad came in here starving and i haven't needed to eat for two days - it is very filling, the portion sizes are of incredible value.. you have been warned! the service was..how to say.. Minimal.... by which i mean very straight to the point, you're here for a delicious meal not for small talk with your waiter. had to call staff over rather than them coming to us but we didn't mind. starters were as good as we had heard, my dish (ginger duck + rice) was wonderful, flavourful, and hearty. it seems there is a lot of love going into this cooking.

   A small family run business that you can tell get rushed of their feet. I visited on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, the busiest Vietnamese restaurant on the street infact. Due to this the customer service isn’t the best, quick and abrupt but I wouldn’t call it rude as such I think they are just super busy. Food - veg spring rolls were average, I couldn’t tell what was in them but they were very dense inside, instead of crispy vegetables. I got the grilled pork vermicelli bun which was nice, I had to add some chilli oil and more soy sauce etc but generally was nice flavours. Pork was a little chewy but decent overall. If I came back will most likely get the standard vermicelli as my friend got that and it had more flavour. They gave fresh fruit as a complimentary dessert which is a sweet touch !

   So good! amazing place to came with friends or as a couple. Also, you can bring your own boost and drinks, so that’s amazing. The green papaya salad it’s absolutely the best! Also the pak choi was so good. Second time I came and definitely I will come back.

   I love love love this food! I ordered the vegetable fried rice and some vegetable spring rolls and everything was super yummy. The waiter was quite friendly. Can't wait to go back.

   Perfect food... Really enjoyed. A little bit pricey though but worth it for a dinner or on a night out. Huge menu so a lot to choose from; perfect for big group. :)

   A group of us stumbled upon this place in Hoxston after being at an event. It looked really spacious inside so gave it a try. The food was really really delicious and very well presented. I particularly recommend the Salt & Pepper Squid. It was quite hard to get the staff's attention to order or get the bill but other than that it was great. Would return again.
