Not the cheapest, and not the biggest portion. However, the best flavours and quality paired with the best service. That's a trade off I will always be happy making.
It was our first time ordering and we absolutely loved the food! Really tasty and the sauces were amazing too. The portion sizes were perfect…actually we couldn’t finish everything. I thought the prices seemed very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food…we will definitely be back! Alex

First visit, not my last. Best to book as it's very popular. Fitted me in when virtually every table was reserved. Glad they did. Food was full of flavour, decent portions and served hot. A tad tired interior but great food served with a smile. Will be back next month for sure.

Best Chinese food for miles around in any direction and simply well executed in its own right. Have collected takeaway many times and eaten in. Most recently (4 days ago) I ate in. Every dish is flavoursome. Sauces, if they are your thing, are a delicious homemade delight. Their crispy duck is a real specialty. We ate there with friends who lived a fair distance that commented it was the best they had had (and it is their favourite Chinese dish). The beef in chilli and black bean sauce was balanced, the sizzling satay prawn had real depth of flavour, the two vegetable dishes we ordered were of excellent texture, not overcooked, and the chicken chow mein was tasty, not greasy, and had a good variety of ingredients. Our guests commented that the interior was warm and cozy. We found the staff friendly and helpful, but then we were also kind to them. Service was speedy and attentive. We forgot to order rice but they had it out for us extremely quickly when we realised our error (it was definitely our fault). Our bill came to £112 for 4 people (excluding tip, but including a nice but well priced Gewürztraminer, a couple of soft drinks, large bottle water, 1 appetiser, half a crispy duck - that's a dozen pancakes so huge - and 3 mains and 2 side veg, steamed and special fried rice). Very fairly priced for such good quality food. We had leftovers to take home which made another meal for two, despite us all leaving very very full that evening.
I did not choose this place. I went with a friend. Sadly I did not read the reviews first. Very expensive in my opinion. Very Small portions compared to other restaurants in the area. Mostly tasteless. Chicken Satay sauce was like water, no flavor. Once was enough. I'm sure there are better places. (In my opinion they should not respond to reviews here because all answer seem to be the same and nothing seems to change.)
