   Shortened Review: This place has a low food rating (1) and gives you stomach issues. Avoid at all costs if you have sense and are well. Long Review: I was around the area (Leyton) and quite famished when I happened on this establishment. They appeared to offer quite standard burgers and chips at a reasonable price. Thus, I decided to give this place a chance. I ordered a chicken breast burger with chips and a drink. The service was quite speedy and the food tasted appetising. I thought to myself, how lucky that I chanced upon a great place to eat at when in Leyton. However, this was far from the case. My nightmare was just about to start, and I was yet to know it. That night, I awoke from my sleep at 2am with such severe stomach pains. I rushed to the toilet, and with great pain exploded with the worst case of bloody diarrhoea that I have ever had the misfortune to experience in my life. I had to head to Whipps Cross hospital, and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis infection with Campylobacter jejuni. I had to be treated with antibiotics. I decided to check online on the Food Standards Agency website to find that they received a rating of 1 (Major Improvement Necessary). I am shocked and flabbergasted that they’re still open and not rectifying this issue. Be warned people when eating here; if you want stomach pains and diarrhoea please go. If you ever have constipation, this establishment offers the cure to your symptoms. Everyone else with sense, skip this place and head elsewhere.

   I did a uber eats order, I do love the wings(it comes just the wing without drumstick side), really good sauce. Had other chicken parts which we liked. I ordered peri salted chips and they were really hot and good size(maybe sprinkle more peri salt as it was very little and most of chips were plain) overall, will definitely try again. I took a “salam cola” but that’s nothing like original and it also came warm… I wouldn’t recommend it if you fan of Original Cola ,especially for delivery

   This was part of a platter which came with half chicken, 2 choices of burgers, 4 wings and 2 sides with a bottle of drink. The food was amazing specially their grilled chicken and wings were so flavourful. This was a very hearty meal❤️

   I visited the Five Lads restaurant in Leyton and was impressed by the food and service overall. The grilled chicken platter was really good the sauce was flavorful, and the chicken tasted fresh and tender, clearly made to order. Portions are generous and great value for money . The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly with plenty of seating. Staff were welcoming and even accommodated special drink requests when needed . The service was fast and polite, both for takeaway and dine-in visits

   2.5 bang average. Food is nice, used to be far cheaper when it first started up. A burger used to be 3.50-4.50 now it’s 8-9. Not to rag on them. I understand prices rise as demand increases. It was enjoyable but not worth it at that price anymore personally.

   Brilliant gem in the area. Food is tasty, hot and quickly presented to us. The grilled saucy chicken is very tasty not dried, this goes in line with the wings. Chips is a great portion and the staff are very friendly. One downside was the chicken burger, it was quite dried out with little to no sauce on it. It would be good if the burger was saucy as much as the grilled chicken. But thats a minor matter to the huge great food and experiance. Definitely recommend!

   I am surprised by some of the comments to be fair. I really like this place, the staff are great (admittedly the photos shows one of the quiet times that I went, so I could take good pics). The platter is REALLY GOOD, the sauce on it is lovely. The burgers, chicken where freshly prepared, so the chicken was tender. The gentleman on the counter even accommodated my drinks request, as I don't do soft drinks (coke/pepsi) I told him. Family friendly too and lots of seating options, that's why we like it.

   Nice design but dusty inside, specially the light bulbs. Many condiments available on each table. Cashier was tired or upset. Too much sauce on chicken, felt like was on purpose to hide the rare grill. Chips big and soft. Wouldn't recommend to take Single Platter.
