   BR6 is run by the most passionate and enthusiastic teachers & coaches, imparting their depth of experience & industrial knowledge to the trainee front of house team and trainee chefs. The food is nothing but amazing and up until the summer term, getting a table at this exquisite eatery has been simple and first option to dine in locally, and this says something, when you consider how many places to dine are near by! I know I speak for the loyal diners when I say, it is a shame your service is not expanding and open as it was. Serving only pastries and coffee compared to the taster menus or the summer, focal events to celebrate different occasions throughout the year.. is just sad. As a local secondary school teacher in Technology and food, this is the one place I have to this point highly recommended students to go. Please sort this out Orpington College, you have a willing staff, local and regular supporters/diners of your beautiful restaurant that want to be dined.

   Extremely slow service. Have been waiting for 45min for three sandwiches and still no sign of our food. Only 5-6 tables here so definitely not busy. Won't be coming here again.

   The first time we went to br6, it was amazing, 5/5, excellent, delicious, well presented for and crazy cheap. We couldn't believe it. This time it was obviously 3/5. Simply put, the food was not great. There was a soup which way literally the worst soup we had ever been served, it tasted of nothing. I'm not exaggerating. And the were medicore, not as tasty as what we would make at home, but thankfully still edible. I guess it's reasonable to get such a mixed set of experiences, given it's a training restaurant. One thing which is consistent, the service is always very endearing.

   Absolutely quality service! Myself and my brothers came for the carvery (as pictured) and we got the homemade potato and leek soup to start, steak with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and mixed greens with a chocolate deluce to round it off. Harry was exceptionally professional above and beyond service, coming back to check everything was okay and ensuring that we had plenty of refreshments to go alongside our meals, he even held the door open for us as we left. I would highly recommend eating here at £25.95 for a three course meal that's a bargain and a half!
