   1st time of visiting this restaurant. Went with some friends, very pleasant atmosphere and good attentive staff. The food was first class, proper Indian cuisine in Will definitely be back. Even though busy the you could hold a conversation on a eight person table with no problem. At the end of the meal we were all offered a complimentary drink of our choice, which was a very nice touch.

   Lucky to live very locally to Jaipur of Chigwell. As foodies, we’ve had many curries all over the world and here even tops Jaipur itself. We’ve been coming here for years since we moved to the area and it never lets us down. Lovely customer service. The recent renovation also makes this place a comfortable and classy vibe where we take all our friends when they come to visit. Will continue to come back for more of our favourite dishes - highly recommend the Jaipur Sylheti king prawn dish, tandoori lamb chops and spinach pakora!

   We travelled here to try this place based on google reviews. I was extremely underwhelmed. The food came out far too quickly and mostly tasted reheated. Very bland, under seasoned and 0 salt. The chicken in my Madras was chewy. Came out boiling hot but tasted like it had been zapped in the microwave and was cold in 2 minutes. The onion bhajis were reheated and tasted like they had been delivered and didn’t travel well. The potatoes were cooked to perfection but just tasted like boiled potatoes even though they were cooked with a sauce. The chicken tikka was smothered in tamarind sauce. So even though the chicken was atleast tender, all I could taste is a savoury soy taste. The madras somehow managed to have heat without flavour. Everything was very average. The waiters constantly cleared plates from your table whilst you were still eating. As soon as they see what they perceived as finished, they would come to your table and lean over to collect the bowls. The owner takes the bill and was very friendly offering us a free drink at the end. I thought that was a nice touch.We did decline and he gave us free water to take. Nothing was particularly bad. But it wasn’t good either. I struggle to understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I wish it lived up to the expectations I had. But I won’t be coming here again.

The ambiance is elegant yet cosy, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable meal. The food was simply exceptional – every dish was bursting with authentic flavours, perfectly balanced spices, and beautifully presented. The curry was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the garlic naan was hands-down the best we’ve ever had. Portions were generous without compromising on quality. What truly sets Jaipur apart is the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect evening, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in just the right amount without being intrusive. Their passion for great food and hospitality really shines through. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine with a touch of luxury, Jaipur of Chigwell is an absolute must! Highly recommended – a 10/10 experience.

   Booked a few tables at this restaurant for a family event. Really impressed with the menu. Dishes all tasted great and the restaurant's decor is superb. The staff are brilliant, friendly, helpful, attentive (we were in there the night of a World Cup game so there was plenty of banter with them too!) Special shout out to Ahmed who helped us choose the menu options and was super-attentive on the night - he was a massive hit with the whole family. It was a pleasure from end to end.

   Unbelievable food. Food was hot quick service. The lamb shank was tender and full of flavours. Biriyani was fantastic especially with the vegetable curry Seating is comfortable and roomy. The customer service was exceptional. Very welcoming and more than happy to give you guidance on what to pick for your preferences. Definitely go here for an authentic south Asian curry experience with great customer service.

   Ordered a take out meal last night from Jaipur Chigwell. Excellent meal exactly as we ordered and arrived hot, although we had to wait nearly an hour, this wasn't a problem to us and was explained before we ordered. We have visited the restaurant many times but don't order take out very often. We weren't disappointed and will definitely order take out again, hopefully soon, maybe visit the restaurant!

   This is one of the best Indian restaurants. The staff are incredibly friendly. We are on our honeymoon from Australia and passed through to see family and we will be sure to come back and stop in again on other holidays. Thank you for looking after us. Your food is amazing and the Indian is wine is superb (be sure to try it ladies).

   We thought we’d try this place for my birthday, it was a great choice. My son & daughter loved the lamb, saying it’s the best they’ve had. I had the chicken and the vegetable dish and have to agree it’s the food is the best we’ve had locally. I highly recommend it. All the staff are very friendly and especially Ahmed. Ask him for recommendations.
