   **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I have been living in Goodmayes for years, and one of the brightest gems in our area is this wonderful Turkish restaurant, named Eyva. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted not just with the delicious aroma of authentic Turkish cuisine, but also with genuine warmth and hospitality. This place holds a special spot in our hearts — in June, we celebrated my elder son’s birthday here, and today, the whole family gathered again to celebrate my younger son’s birthday. Both times, they made the occasions unforgettable. The staff go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued, and the food… absolutely divine! Every dish bursts with flavor, freshness, and love. It’s more than just a restaurant — it’s a place where memories are made, laughter is shared, and you leave feeling happier than when you arrived. Thank you for not just serving amazing food, but for being a part of our family’s happiest moments. Highly recommended to anyone who loves great food, great service, and a place that truly cares for its customers! -

   This is a strange one. Don't be fooled by the great pictures of the food and a presentation. The starters was great, enjoy. It was very spicy, very tasty. You could feel all its flavours in it. The main course, wow, that's is another story. we ordered the mixed meat, kebab and rice and the Lamb was very Dry, very hard to eat, the rice was undercooked. I wouldn't recommend that. they did offer me the choice of chips in hindsight, I should have taken it, it would have been better.

   I visited Eyva Turkish Grill and Meze Bar today with a friend during our lunch break. We were both quite hungry, so we decided to give this place a try. We were welcomed by friendly staff, which gave a nice first impression. We ordered the share platter for two, along with some juice and water. While waiting, we were served bread with hummus, yogurt, and chili sauce a thoughtful touch. The bread was fresh and paired very well with the dips, and the accompanying green salad was also quite good. About 10 minutes later, our main dish – the chicken share platter – arrived. Initially, I was excited, but my enthusiasm faded a bit when I saw (and felt) the food. The platter wasn’t served piping hot as I expected. The doner on the platter was actually cold, and overall, it seemed like the food had been pre-cooked rather than freshly prepared. I believe a hot, sizzling platter would have made a big difference in the experience. Taste-wise, the food was decent – not bad, but not memorable either. For the price, I felt the portion could have been more generous. It seemed the food was made in a rush, without much attention to detail. Overall, I’d say it was an “okay” experience. Hopefully, next time the food will be served hot, fresh, and with a bit more care and love – because the potential is there.

   For the first time when I came to the Eyva restaurant I was shocked. They have such a diverse menu, the portions are large, and the price is advantageous. We do celebrate almost all the parties we have at this wonderful Restaurant. Our circle of friends is very large and some of them, following our recommendation, come and spend time with their family or even organize birthday parties. We are in love and want to thank the whole team for the hospitality and because everything is perfect and very tasty.

   Having already read some reviews, I was eager to see what the place was actually like. Let's start with the food. Went for the special mixed grill, which came with all the usual accompaniments, bread, sauces, and rice. Plenty of it, and was very tasty. Top marks for food quality and quickness of service. Drink, the Turkish rose was, shall we say, above normal percentage wines, 14%! However, it was served in room temperature glasses, in a warm restaurant, without a wine cooler. We added ice, which we asked for but melted quickly, which made the wine much more palatable. The service was quick and polite, all be it not as warm as the wine glasses. Prices were reasonable and I think the food reflected the cost. Background music, as in previous reviews does intrude into conversations, doesn't need to be that loud, just in the background. At the end of the day, it was a good experience that could be better with a little TLC when it comes to service etiquette....... And a wine cooler.

   Great Turkish. Reasonable price and portions are very generous. Service was very fast and friendly. The restaurant feels a bit noisy with the background music and people talking and I couldn’t hardly hear what my child was talking to me but overall the atmosphere is good. Family friendly but I would advise going early with kids.
