   Absolutely ridiculous portion sizes, spent £9.50 for a donner meat and chips and got what looks like a child's portion. I have been buying from there since they opened and there boxes have reduced to half the size they originally were. Most of my box was salad. Absolute rip off, wont be spending my money there again.

   My experience at Ottoman Doner was top-notch. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome. The ambience was casual and comfortable — perfect for grabbing a quick takeaway for children. I ordered the Mixed Doner "Supper deal" with Bulgur Rice & Salad served separately, and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was well-seasoned, cooked just right, and combined beautifully with the fresh salad. The portions were generous — I definitely left feeling satisfied. One thing that stood out was the variety and quality of their sauces. The garlic mayo and chilli sauce complemented the dishes without overpowering them. Highly recommend. #pbdrivingschool

   I visited the Ilford branch of this restaurant today after seeing a famous influencer’s review, but unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing. First of all, there wasn’t even a proper menu to look at – we had to just stand there and look up at the board while deciding what to order. The staff member serving us was visibly impatient and seemed annoyed that we were taking our time, which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. We were also disappointed to find out that their doner meat is a mix of beef and lamb, with no option for lamb only – something that wasn’t made clear anywhere. We expected proper lamb doner. We ended up ordering the “super deal,” which comes with meat and chicken doner, but since we didn’t want the mixed meat, we only took the chicken. Even then, the portion was very small and definitely not worth the price. Despite choosing to dine in, they served everything cramped together in a takeaway box instead of nicely presented on a tray or plate like shown in the pictures online. The rice tasted bland, the chips were soggy, and the meal felt carelessly thrown together. The food looked nothing like the pictures, and the service made the experience worse. Overall, it was a big letdown and we didn’t even feel comfortable complaining because the staff member already seemed so annoyed. Wouldn’t recommend this branch at all, especially if you’re expecting good service, proper portions, and food that looks and tastes as advertised.

   Really enjoyed my takeaway from ottoman diner Ilford the donner wasn’t greasy it had the flavours as well having the right spices I really enjoyed it with the rice it wasn’t spicy and had the correct taste to it .also it was all freshly cooked as I witnessed it myself whilst I was in the ottoman doner takeaway I would definitely come back here again to Oder from ottoman doner

   Very impressed with their food and portions. I ordered the mixed doner with chips. Their salad was nice and fresh. The meat and chicken was flavoursome and the portion size was very generous. The triple cheese burger was also really nice and great size. Highly recommend.

   Milk cake was absolutely amazing!! We had chicken and lamb doner, which was also very nice (I preferred chicken doner). A very ottoman themed restaurant which is obvious. Very nice friendly staff, would go here again. Highly recommend the milk cake and chicken doner. I wanted the kunafah but the maker wasn’t in so was unable to.

   Nice big portions, tasty food and arrived quick. All food was fresh and hot and the desserts are amazing. They have the best Trilece cake! I requested my order to be slightly modified and they were more than happy to oblige. We order from here regularly and have not been disappointed. Thank you!

   Ordered twice from here and on both occasions they have not followed add on instructions on uber eats. Ordered a lamb doner with chips chilli sauce garlic nacho cheese and salad and I only get the nacho cheese on my lamb doner and no sauces provided on the side either. Quite disappointing and does not taste great without the sauces and salad which is what makes a doner a doner.

   Beautiful decor, friendly service, I tried the empire burger just so I could taste the doner too! The meat was lovely and lean, family enjoyed the doner also tried cheese burgers which were very similar to McDonald’s taste! Staff explained the history of the Ottoman Empire which was very interesting. I pray for their success and recommend you try their doner the taste was amazing!
