We hosted our child’s birthday party at Manjal Restaurant, Loughton and we are very happy with the experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly patient with the children, making the whole event run smoothly and stress-free. The food was excellent and enjoyed by both adults and kids, with great flexibility around children’s preferences and dietary requirements. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, and the team really went the extra mile to make the birthday child feel special. Highly recommend Manjal Loughton for a kids’ birthday party or any family celebration. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s my 2nd time here, and 1st time it was okish experience but that had been 3 years now, so I wanted to give it a try again as this restaurant is local to me. For mains in price of £11.95, one expects either flavours or presentation, this frankly didn’t stand out for me, too much spices doesn’t mean flavours. For starters, sambhar vada in £7.95 one expects decent size of vadas, these are not East London prices. Restaurant is decent but not for us when by spending 20% more I can have better experience in Central London with more flavourful food or paying 40% less can dine somewhere else in East London. Place is spacious, nice & decent, toilets were very clean. It was very busy on mother’s day & with young kids & family it gets noisy Staff were good, and were attentive in refilling water etc Though, this place is not something I would visit again easily as for me food was too much spicy, and for the prices I paid it was not worth it because portion size was not big either. Its decent option though, for those who don’t mind prices & spices.

One of the finest dining establishments in this region, this establishment exudes an atmosphere of tranquility. It is an ideal venue for both intimate gatherings and formal office luncheons. The ambiance is characterized by its impeccable decor and sophisticated ambiance. While the cuisine is of exceptional quality, the prices may be considered somewhat exorbitant. The staff members are courteous and attentive, accommodating the preferences of their patrons.

Manjal is located at the end of Langston Road with plenty of on-site parking. The food is good quality and much more on the regional side of the cuisine than what most Indian restaurants serve. Portions are a fair size and reasonable value. The restaurant itself does lack atmosphere with it feeling a bit like a tired club house or village hall, but the service is friendly and this makes up for it. There's also plenty of space for dining making it a good venue for a large party.

We been to team Xmas dinner and teams hospitality is 5 star .... They have arranged tables before we come and every item servered is fresh, hot and testaty. It is not possible to appricate whole group, but all our group of 23 members enjoyed the food and hospitality. We strongly recomand to our friends.

Delicious food. Third time visiting. Update: visited here last weekend for a bridal shower. Accommodated 30 ish people wonderfully. Good service. Make sure to double check with them that they have processed foods for allergies properly.

First time order and definitely last time… there wasn’t any difference between the butter chicken and chicken tikka, both extremely sweet and hot, I never ever had that spicy butter chicken in my life , poor packaging soaked the whole bag, chicken tikka contained 4 tiny pieces of chicken for £10 ( see pictures) this place is a big disappointment I wish never order from them it all went down our waste food disposal!
