Turned up 40 minutes before closing to find the doors locked ，and staff inside clearly ignoring customers outside. I made eye contact several times and was met with complete indifference. If you’re going to close that early, be honest and change your listed hours?! This isn’t the first time I’ve seen Pop Boutique do this as they routinely shut up shop early and leave customers standing outside (many of whom, intent on buying items) I'm not one to leave reviews but the awful attitude and terrible customer service needs to be publicly called out and addressed.
Beautiful selection of reasonably priced retro clothes from the ‘70s-90s. Lots of ‘70s leather jackets and vests, “cottage core/hippie blouses and corresponding skirts, and some mint Ralph Lauren crewneck pullovers. I bought this classic pair of sunnies for £10 and a beautiful vintage Tommy Hilfiger button-down—the sort I have been searching for for years—also for an excellent price. Could’ve bought much more were I not on a schedule.
Nice vintage clothing, lots of choice! Only 2 stars as I’ve been in twice over the past year or so and have been met with blatant rudeness from the staff both times. They seem super uninterested and any question I asked about the clothing was met with abrupt, one word answers. As a retail worker myself I understand it can be testing sometimes but the staff here seem to go beyond general annoyance, like they actually resent customers for entering the shop. Shame as the clothes and shop itself are really cool!
Excellent customer service, and some really nice shirts too
Poorly priced “vintage” clothing, either not of vintage or abysmal condition. Staff are poor at welcoming customers into the store, unable to hold normal conversation and did not assist me as a customer with my query. If anything the staff blocked my custom with no explanation.
Quaint and cosy store. Smells like aged wood and leather, especially downstairs, which just adds to its charm in my opinion. Everything seems nice and clean and there are some great options to choose from. Will definitely be coming back!
My favourite vintage/retro shop in Northern Quarter. Can never go in without getting even something small like a pair of gloves. Got my winter coat sorted just now in the form of a loud ski coat, perfection! Also doggy friendly with staff who are super lovely.
Quite possibly one of my favourite vintage clothes and home ware shops in the area!
