   What was once known for top notice steaks and classy environment with that homely feel is now a cheap pass off from its former glory, tonight’s meal at the miller and carter was an abysmal culinary attempt… steaks under cooked when asked for medium, raw chicken! ( see photos ) and a waitress that was comfortable enough to let us know that the chicken is pre cooked off site and quickly prepared upon request along with other items never seeing the hands of a real on site chef, to say the miller and carter has lost its class and integrity Is an under statement, what was once 5 star steak and class is now a 2-3 star lazy knock off of its previous glory, I would advise everyone to rethink there choice to come here and choose somewhere els to celebrate there special occasion to avoid this very large and regular disappointing experience happen to others as it’s happing more than often with this particular one in bexley, so disappointing as this used to be a family & friends favourite for us, not any more.

   Food is amazing as always, was served by Romana. Lovely lady with fast service. Had ribeye steak and was always 10/10 love it so much! Lighting was a bit too bright though but everything else fabulous.

   Had the festive menu and the food took a little longer than expected but Charlee was fab at updating us and ensuring we were comfortable and if we needed anything else. We were sat in the conservatory which was cold and the food took longer than necessary but the food was adequate. Made better only by the millionaires fodue dessert.

   My wife order a beef file, it came cooked as she order, but the piece was looking more as a sirloin rather than a file. They shoud review the kids menu as well, not the young menu. We came with a 5 year kid and the choice for her was not much. Most options were from the main menu,( 30 day aged ribeye for a kid). Apart off that nice atmosphere, with professional service. Definitely we will come back and recommend. Very nice!!!

   The starter was mozzarella & tomato bushetta was nice could have done with being warmer than it was but the flavours were good. Main course was surf & turf with triple cooked chips, I ordered the steak to be cooked medium but some of it was rare was not hot & the butter did not melt due to this the triple cooked chips were not worth the extra cost could have cooked crisper ones in my oven & the lobster tail was lovely but only the size if a king prawn. Is it worth the money no there are better places out there that are cheaper with taster food & better value for money with less conditions.

   If I could rate 10 stars, I would and that's mainly because of our server, Catherine. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and couldn't be more helpful. We took my 94 year old Grandmother for lunch and was joined by my auntie who was celebrating her birthday. Catherine noticed this and arranged a lovely birthday dessert for her. The whole afternoon was perfect. The restaurant is stunning and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back.

   Lovely food, especially our main courses! Our server was very helpful and attentive also very friendly!! Think her name was Lily? Massive credit to your team!! :) Only thing we both had a comment about was the dress code, everyone around us including us are all wearing very nice outfits but then one table in our area came in in tracksuit shorts and tracksuit jumpers. We had lots of texts explaining how we wouldn’t be allowed in that dress attire, has this changed? Was very noticeable. Couldn’t fault anything else though!

   Great table, fabulous food and service. A menu for all tastes very hard to fault. A little pricey but for what you get we were pleased. Highly recommended we will definitely be going back.
