Visited with my mum and grandparents and whilst the food was excellently prepared and very tasty. The service unfortunately on the Sunday we went was very poor. This is not a fault of the waitress but she was the only one working on that day and perhaps due to this and the kitchen being understaffed the food we ordered took hours to be ready and arrive at our table. We did order a lot of dishes and it is well known that Nigerian food takes a long time to cook but especially on the day we went it was clear that we weren't the only ones affected by this poor speed of service. Overall food was fantastic but the service needs work (perhaps employing more waiter staff).

Disgraceful Standards – Nigerian Restaurants Must Do Better !!! I’ve visited Orange Restaurant & Bar multiple times, and sadly, it reflects a disappointing pattern I’ve seen too often with Nigerian restaurants, a focus on making money, with little regard for customer experience. The food is hit or miss. On several occasions, I ordered pounded yam with egusi and found sand or small stones in the stew, completely unacceptable and a clear sign of poor hygiene or preparation standards. The service is consistently poor. Staff are often unhelpful, dismissive, and at times dishonest. The music is always far too loud β€” this is supposed to be a restaurant, not a nightclub. It ruins the dining experience and makes conversation impossible. The venue itself is in terrible condition. Chairs are ripped, there’s no lock on the toilet door, the ceiling is missing bulbs, and several tiles are damaged. Shockingly, there are exposed electrical wires right next to a hand wash sink. The place feels damp and neglected. I’ve taken photos and videos because these are not isolated incidents, they are regular occurrences. I’m leaving this review because I want African businesses, especially Nigerian-owned restaurants to do better. We deserve clean, safe spaces with good customer service when we choose to support our own. Until serious improvements are made, I won’t be returning.

I have just had to pull a piece of metal scourer from my mouth as I was eating their takeaway Asun. This concludes an overall shoddy experience at this so-called restaurant. The menus are out of date so the price you see written is not the price you will pay. It took over 45 minutes to bring out simple nkwobi as a starter even though there were only two other people already eating in the restaurant. Overall service poor. Would be nice to actually have a Nigerian restaurant we could be proud of. Also, they charged us extra for the small takeaway plastic containers. Who does that?? Having said that, the food that wasn't contaminated with foreign objects did taste good.

The is a Nigerian restaurant that lacks character. Just bland. The food is very average, small in quantity and quite expensive. Not a bad place but really think they could do a lot better. Will not be visiting again.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing! We ordered Jellof rice, plantain and assorted meat & Jellof rice, plantain and fried fish from deliveroo at this place. Me and my partner was looking forward to having this food but to our horror- we found a piece off a metal scourer in our rice and my partner had took a bite of this and assumed it was bone from the fish but as soon as he took it out of his mouth, we discovered it was metal piece as shown in pic. Furthermore, after consuming the food a couple hours later- I had extreme discomfort in my stomach and puked consistently. Honestly, I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but this is food contamination with a foreign object and I really don't trust the food health and safety from this restaurant as I work in the food industry myself. This could've led to something more severe and dangerous!

I was craving an African meal nd I went here to have the assorted goat meat peppersoup and it was definitely amazing. I do give Orange Restaurant & Bar a 5 star rating because of how delicious the meal was but the server was not so pleasant, he kept frowning all through the service which is wrong but in all it was a great place to dine.

Orange Restaurant & Bar is a good place to eat African delicacies especially Nigerian foods such as Abacha, Nkwobi and Ugba, Garri and assorted soups like egwusi soup, vegetable soup, okro soup, etc. They equally sell jellof rice, fried rice, beans and fried plantain. Assorted Nigeria beers like Star, Origin, Guinness stout, etc. Taste of their food is delicious and makes you have a feel of Nigeria atmosphere. The cost of food and drinks are pocket friendly. Quality of their service is amazing!
