   We were at the Formula Ford Festival on Sunday 26th October and stopped by the Kentagon for something to eat, during a walk around the circuit. At about 1.20pm I naively thought the lunchtime rush might have subsided a bit, however it was extremely busy. That said, the staff were great, serving everyone efficiently and helpfully. We both had a roast beef dinner and I have to say it was one of the best ever. Two really chunky good sized pieces of very lean beef was served with cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, mixed veg including fresh broccoli, gravy and horseradish. Really generous portions for £14.95 each and thoroughly recommended.

   Disappointing. We arrived after setting up our tent at 19:50 on the Friday evening before American Speedfest 12. All the information about camping at the event said that food would be served until 21:00 only to be informed by staff that food service ended at 19:45. The food we could see on people’s plates looked very nice though.

   Came to Brands Hatch for the W Series Championship Final and had the Pitstop Breakfast here and we were pleasantly surprised with not only the pricing which we expected to be higher for the racetrack venue as they tend to be, but also the smooth organisation of the canteen style restaurant. All the marshalls all eat here and it does add to the atmosphere of the day to be eating in amongst all the orange overalls! We found the outside concessions more pricey (and there's nowhere to sit to get out of the wind) so we went back for lunch and they put an a decent range of choice and were again very quick at serving and clearing.

   To be clear, this is the restaurant that is located at the Brand's Hatch Circuit. I was actually very surprised at the food as it was very good. Lamb stew on the cold, windy, wet day was amazing. I was also surprised it wasnt more full than it was. It reminded me of a ski lodge but that may be more because of the weather.
