Had the chicken skewer for Β£17.29, you get approximately 30-40 grams of unseasoned chicken on a metal stick. It is very poor if you are hoping to have any protein with your meal. The staff behind the bar were literally not allowed to offer a different menu item in exchange, I have never ever seen such poor customer service and poor food quality at such an elevated price. I occasionally forget why I never visit premier inn restaurants and this is why. It's not only the poor food quality and portion size it's the wasted time I sat and waited for a half-developed, over priced and genuinely awful meal. The only customer service I got from them was "That's the way we are told to make it" and "I can't exchange it or do anything about it"

Came with my mum and had the festive menu, starter and a main. Was absolutely lovely, hot and good portions. Good value for money. Presentation and quality of food was excellent from Mark and thank you to Becca for looking after us.

Our first time visiting. The food was good, although the grill wasn’t working, so steaks were not on the menu. Very good service. The atmosphere felt a little sterile, maybe because it’s in an obscure location. That said, it was ok.

It's not set in the most picturesque place. But once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the decor. Went on a Sunday for lunch. The food was ok but the service was good. Very attentive. Would go back again, especially as you get a discount code, which gives you money off your next visit 25%. I went for the roast beef and paid extra for cauliflower cheese, which was lovely. My husband had chicken skewers with flat bread, chips and salad. Comes with their own 74 sauce and tasiki.

The food is simply delicious. Loved the Mixed Grill dish; the streak, gammon, and chicken are done properly, though I felt the onion rings had soaked up too much oil. I had my dish with the '74 BBQ sauce and bought a few bottles to go. The staff were amazing, and the manager was aces. They made Mother's Day a splendid moment. As busy as it was, meals came out in under 10 mins... Mr. Ramsey would have been proud. So why the 4/5 stars? Well, the tables I sat at were not cleared and cleaned in due time, and the "washed" stationed cutlery had bits of food stuck to them. The climate was a bit cold for me, but then again, you can use me to measure. The overall environment is inviting. They are located within a hotel ground. If you are a guest, you can choose to take your meal up to your room( please remember to take your plates/trays/cups/glasses back). There are sitting areas outside, and you can have drinks and smoke in these areas. Have a nice meal there because I surely will when next I visit.

We have been going to this beefeater since last year. Every visit was a let down but the food is good and it is only 5min away. There is always a long wait, hard to get anyone's attention. When we come in, most of the time we get ignored. I think the staff needs more training on customer skills and to employ more staff as it is always busy.. But this time was different! Lovely Becca was our waitress. She was brilliant. Attentive, chatty, lovely with the kids. Of course, when we came we got ignored by the other lady. At least could say 'Hello. Someone will be with you shortly' but instead just pretended we are not there. Thank you Becca who made our evening so lovely ☺️❀️

I gave a rating of 3 stars because of the long wait time to get our food. Waited for more than an hour to get our mains! It was a busy Sat night but there were only 3 chefs cooking for a big restaurant that can cater for more than 50 seats. However, the food was good considering the steak was cooked to the exact doneness and the roast chicken was moist. It is similar to an American diner with lots of BBQ options to choose. The price point was spot on for the type of food served and I would give it another go on a quieter night.

Thought to treat myself after a long week. Prawn cocktail was great with chunky prawns. The lamb chops looked impoverished on the plate. Potatoes were strange and a bit hard. Dessert was not what I expected. I ordered apple & blackberry crumble but it looked liked cooked down blackberry and apple which was sprinkled with crumbles. With the vanilla icecream the taste was fine. My pictures will tell you. The serving ladies were polite and wanted to please, but I know the shortage of staff had taken its toll.Did give a tip.

When I hear the name Beefeater, I hear chain restaurant and that is mostly mediocre quality. First of all I was well suprised about the many different beers they have on the tap. Besides that, many bottled beers, ciders and alcohol free drinks are offered as well. I ordered the 16oz (roughly 450 grams) T-bone steak prepared medium rare and that is exactly what I got, so that's good! The side portions could be a bit more generous to be honest, but nevertheless tasty and sufficient. The sticky toffee pudding was served nice and warm with some custard sauce. I had a good experience, but I doubt ever coming back.
