Have been on a Tuesday with a group of friends for the banquet menu and it's always so good! Really flavoursome food, excellent service and such good value for money!

I'm not one to leave a bad review, especially about a local restaurant but unfortunately I haven't been able to get through to them to discuss. Chips - cold Naan bread - cold We ordered 2 poppadoms, 1 arrived and it was soggy. Sauces, didn't bother with Meals - chicken shashlik, was edible and chicken Tikka jalfreazi was cold. Such a shame. Ordered from just eat saying 30 mins, an hour late and this is what arrived. Such a shame as we've had such lovely meals. Unfortunately we weren't able to speak to anyone to discuss our issues. Hopefully this was a one off.

The food from A Taste of Indian is incredible, fresh and tasty. I went for the Chicken Passanda and was in heaven with every bite , accompanied with delicious naan bread . Highly recommended and I can't wait to eat another delicious meal.

Staying at friends so ordered a takeaway meal deal for two on line menu states 4 popodom menu in restaurant states two so only got two (false advertising) did not receive what was ordered regarding chutneys etc etc called them when I got home told them the order was a complete shambles and not correct was told they had no drivers to bring what was ordered out to us. Told me next time we order will give discount but we’re not local! So it’s ok for them to take our money and rip us off???

Food always fresh and tasty. Plenty of gluten free choices for myself. Our favourites are desi chicken korma and chicken dopiaza. My husband said the peshwari naan was soft and light and full of flavour. Service good and atmosphere nice. Reasonably priced. They do a banquet every Tuesday for £12.95. We haven't tried it yet but heard other customers saying it was nice.

Great food whether you dine in or take away and always a friendly, warm welcome to be had. Our family favourite.

Great food. Can be busy so takes time. But we'll worth the wait

It's hit and miss. I've had some nice meals from there, but the next time I order the same thing and it's very average. Maybe they have changed chef or something. I always get chicken tikka masala, it used to be thick it's now watery. The bhajis were pretty much inedible, just rock solid, like they were days old. the spicy popadoms were burned and just nasty. Their rice is sound though. It's a mixed bag and a bit of a gamble as to what you're gonna get.

Ordered our food tonight at 6pm and was told it would be 1hr 30mins to be delivered... i rang them twice to see were it was ... i think they had forgot about us .... it arrived just before 9pm so waited almost 3 hours .... food was lovley ... but 3 hours waiting time has put us off ordering from them again.

Regular visitor over the years to Ali's different restaurants. All been superb. He has now successfully managed to get me on to Indian food! Have been a few times and just had a family takeaway during lock down which was brilliant. Good to see he was chocker as well, worth the wait. Would recommend the staff curry, deshi korma and alu methi (probably spelt wrong)
