Recently went in after new management, everything tasted clean and well-prepared. Staff were friendly and quick. Good portion sizes and fair prices. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. This new management is excellent!!! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
Popped in recently and was really impressed with the changes under the new management. The menu is packed with options, from classic fish and chips to burgers, wraps, and kebabs, all at great prices. I had the Chicken Burger Meal and it was hot, fresh, and tasty. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the service was excellent. A lovely, friendly girl at the till served me with a big smile and made the experience even better. 5 stars all around, will definitely be back!
Stopped by this fish and chips spot while I was in the area for the first time, and I’m honestly glad I did. I don’t live nearby, but it was well worth the visit. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside — clearly fresh and cooked with care. The chips were golden, chunky, and not overly greasy, just how I like them. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portion size was generous. Staff were friendly and quick, even though it was a bit busy when I arrived. It’s always nice to find a place that takes pride in doing the classics right. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely stop by again. Highly recommended if you’re craving proper fish and chips!
Under new management and it seems like the new guys know how to do it! Fish and chips were delicious , not too greasy and reasonable priced. Staff had a smile on their face and were very friendly, felt like home . This is one of those spots that is convenient , reasonably priced and you can count on after a night out. Thanks guys
Been going to this chip shop for years and haven't been for a while before and after it got renovated. Went today and the vibe was unfriendly like they wanted you in and out the shop as quick as possible. Rushed you to get ur order and came quick which I'll give them that but came home and opened the chicken box only to see like 20 chips and 6 wings?? Couldn't kill you to put more chips as I paid £11.60?
Decent enough, not the best chippy around, needs a face-lift inside but still tasted okay
First time ordering from these and must say the chips were lovely and not like most chip shops that have very hard crispy chips. My baby absolutely eat them with no problems. Will defiantly go back again.
Only had chips and they were lovely. Would highly recommend.
