   First time i used good year take away. The food was good.tasty.but stone cold.was disapointing.even picket up my order and was home in 3 min.i will use them again and hope it was just a ine off.will check next time that food is atleast warm be for leaving shop.i still ate it and enjoyed taste.but so disapointed .not luke warm but cold.

   Ive bought house chowmein 3 times now and there is hardly any meat in it. The tub is full of noodles, 2 prawns and nothing else for £7.40 .. disappointed!!!

   3 of us had chicken chow main and spring rolls. The spring rolls were blunt and mainly dough, almost no filling. The chow main the same just dry pasta basically. Lacking traditional flavours and very dry and nothing in there apart from noodles and few chicken bits. Curry sauce was nice though so I guess curry sauce for dinner it is

   I recently ordered from Good Year Chinese Food Takeaway and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations for authentic Chinese cuisine. The dishes lacked the traditional flavors I was looking forward to. The chow mein noodles were particularly disappointing – they were too dry and lacked the rich, savory taste that usually defines this dish. The Kung Po chicken and shrimp felt more like sweet and sour dishes rather than the spicy, flavorful Kung Po I anticipated. The Spicy Salt and Chilli Chicken was another letdown. It had little in common with the typical Chinese dish, featuring half a casserole filled with chopped onions, green chilies, and some shredded chicken, rather than the expected balanced and spicy flavors. The Fried Chicken with Green Peppers and Black Beans had an overpowering smoky taste, which overshadowed the dish's intended flavors. It did not resemble the traditional Chinese dish it was supposed to be. Overall, while the food was not bad, it did not deliver the authentic Chinese taste I expected. If you’re looking for true Chinese flavour , this may not be the best choice.

   Absolutely dreadfully. Ordered on just eat and advised at 7pm it would arrive by 8pm. Phones up 820pm and told it is coming directly to you now. At 840pm it was picked up on my cctv food arriving. I took it straight to the kitchen to unwrap and it was stone cold. I have to microwave some of it. The mixed hors d’oeuvres for tea was absolutely abysmal. The ribs with dried up and tasteless. My family have used this place in the past with no complaints but it would appear the chefs have changed and it’s going down hill. Everything about my order last night was rubbish.

   Such a horrible customer service and don't understand how people give a rate to this restaurant. Their postcode is RM3 and we order RM1 area, they cancelled our ordered a few hours later on. They lied they don't have a driver at first and I phoned them to deliver anytime before 8pm and then Very unprofessional owner asked the receptionist to told me, they don't do the delivery to RM1. PLEASE DO NOT RUN YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU CHOOSE TO DELIVERY AREA EVEN YOU TOOK THE DELIVER FEES, SUCH A BULLSHITTT SERVICE, WILL NEVER NEVER ORDER YOUR SHOP AGAIN , THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ODER AND GOT THE WORST EXPERIENCES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Public apology to Good Year. I have just left an abysmal review on Just Eat by mistake saying the food was delivered late and cold. I meant to leave this review for the McDonald’s order I placed at the same time for my son. The Good Year always deliver when they say they will and food is always great. Sorry I cannot remove the Just Eat review and I hope this makes up for it a little.

   Gone downhill since the lockdown. Rice was all stodgy and burned, food took long to arrive. Called up to ask on the time, and was told if I didnt want to wait to cancel the order. Use to use it weekly, but now I am looking at other places in Romford.
