The staff were pleasant and very willing to make accommodations. We were given plenty explanations of the dishes we don't know. Fast service and good food. Good portion sizes.
Our first time here and we will never go anywhere else. Husband is a Northern curry snob and was very impressed! Fresh dishes with unique flavours. Fabulous
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love this place! Been coming here since I was little and now I take my own kids. The service is always fantastic friendly, welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is full of flavour and always arrives fresh and hot. You can really tell they care about their customers. Such a lovely local gem – highly recommend!
Good location in Bovingdon with small car park and some off-road parking nearby. Plenty of options, food is well-presented (lots of food colouring, which is standard and expected), all appears freshly cooked. The service is friendly - they always check in on you. Nice range of dessert options, which is rare! Well worth a visit if you are craving a curry. I prefer a spicier option as these tend to be more flavourful. I would not opt for mild unless you really cannot tolerate spice. Friendly suggestion would be to add some herbs to mild dishes & serve the dishes a little hotter, if at all possible. Been several times and will be back.
Took my mum out for Mother’s Day at Zeera. Food was amazing with lots of options! Restaurant is beautiful and the staff are nice and friendly! Would highly recommend a visit! Food was well worth the price and was well portioned!

Disappointing takeaway. As a Bovingdon resident, this is our local indian and one we have used on many occasions. We had a takeaway in Oct 2022 and it was well below their standards of the past. The prawn tikka was overcooked and rubbery. The chicken tikka was not much better. About the same as a supermarket ready meal. The lamb rogan was ok. Everyone wants their local restaurants to be excellent and successful so I write this review in the hope it spurs some improvement. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the prices are OK. Other indian options a little further distance away are more appealing based on this meal. Hopefully this was a one off bad experience.
The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Very friendly and attentive staff who put the effort in making your stay as pleasant as possible. The food is prepared by an award winning chef and it really shows. Will be back very soon!
