   Blues Saffron is honestly one of the best takeaway shops I’ve ordered from. The food is always fresh, tasty, and packed properly so it arrives in perfect condition. My order came on time and everything was still hot and full of flavour. The portions are generous and you can tell they really care about the quality. The staff are friendly and the service is reliable every time. Definitely my go-to takeaway now!

   Have been using Blue Saffron for many years now, still remember when they were on the main road. We did not know they had changed ownership and if we had read the latest reviews we would not have wasted our money. The food was the worst we have ever tasted, we were grateful we had no friends round to share it with. Not sure what has happened there but I'm sure the new owners would not have given the food we had to their friends. As others have said the prices have gone up a lot, portions have got smaller and the taste was terrible. After all this time we will not be going back there again, we have learned now that how well you know a place check the reviews first, a sign of the times maybe.

   I have been ordering from Blue Saffron since I moved in to the area 17 years ago. It was by far the best Indian take away in the area. We tend to order curry during the Autumn and winter months. The last time we ordered from here would have been March earlier this year. We placed our first order a week ago to find out our usual order had increased from £55 to almost £70. That should have been a red flag, at no point did anyone say the restaurant was under new management. Once the order arrived and I unpacked the food the penny dropped. The food looked and tasted disgusting. Our usual curry’s had gone from have lovely tender chunks of chicken in a thick creamy sauce to something I’m not convinced was even chicken in a watered down sauce. The food had no flavour whatsoever. Immediately called to complain and was told the manager would call me back. I never received a call and in return I will never eat from here again. Blue Saffron has gone from being the best Indian take away to the worst I’ve ever experienced due to new ownership. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

   This was our go to place and we were hesitant when we found out the owners have changed. Some of our favourite items were no longer on the Menu. However, we gave them a chance but as we feared, it turned out to be an absolute disappointment. We ordered three curries, briyani, poppadums and mint sauce. Two out of the three curries were sour, the mint sauce and what seemed like the chutney were sour! Everything was on the sour end! The other curry and briyani were just average and were nothing like previously. Unfortunately this is our last order with Blue Saffron.

   I recently ordered the Khyber Charse Karahi and lamb biryani from Blue Saffron as a takeaway, and I have to say-it was an unforgettable experience. I requested the dish to be made hot, and they absolutely delivered on the spice. This was the first time I've tasted a dish that truly captured bold, authentic flavors while maintaining a perfect balance of heat and richness. For a first-time order, I was genuinely impressed, and I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes from their menu.
