Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!! Service was excellent too! Asad was our waiter and he was top notch. The others were all great too. Whenever in Guildford I’ll be sure to come here.
Asad took care of us very well and was professional and warm. The food was outstanding and the best Indian food I have had in the UK. The service and food are exceptional and made for an amazing evening out. We will definitely be back when we come back to Guildford. Thank you very much
Great Indian curry house in Guildford. They serve excellent Sunday Buffet with good choices to choose from. Samosa and onion bhaji were an excellent choice from their starter options. Madras chicken curry and lamp curry with Naan were my favourites. They do also have vegetarian options and serve basmati rice. Overall an excellent choice for a family dine out for any memorable occasion.
Had a great time here! Food was delicious. Fahad was absolutely amazing — super friendly, on point with everything, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that really makes a difference. Will definitely be coming back!
As an Indian, I have to say the food flavour here was far from authentic. The first to last bite we were really dissatisfied and surprised how anyone would like the food if they knew what Indian food should taste like. Also annoyed that a few things we wanted were not available that day! Trying to be balanced here, great that they have cobra and kingfisher on tap and the naans were decent too. Will certainly not be visiting again, much rather have a pizza and stay in!
The food is usually good. However, on this occasion I called up to enquire about trying the Sunday buffet at 1.30 and was told it closes at 2.30 as it says on the website. I travel 30 minutes, arrive at 2pm and am told it it closing so they refuse to seat me. Unbelievable. I spectacular way to p*ss off your customers.

I dined at your restaurant on new years eve And I am writing to inform you that I was so disappointed with the food that it has made me write an email, which is something that I never normally do I always eat the same order in any Indian restaurant Tandoori chicken starter Tandoori mixed grill. Ashuka platter Something I have had at the Ashuka 3 times before This time the meat certainly was below par even the starter which was over salty and not well cooked When my main arrived I couldn't believe it the chicken was a small thigh that had bones and a couple of thin small pieces. The lamb was two pieces of thin sliced meat none of which had seen the inside of a Tandoori oven no char at all It resembled a home cooked effort certainly no skewer marks On reporting this to the waiter a senior waiter arrived when I explained that the chicken was either small and limp or boney he proceeded to take a knife and fork to my plate and started cutting the chicken to find I was right, how rude this was. My wife had ordered the same dish and hers in comparison looked slightly better I pointed this out and was told I was wrong I had to reorder a different dish, chicken madras And believe I was not charged for this was also shocked in this event to see a service charge of 13.50 on the total bill. I understand that service charge may be automatically be added but as our entire evening had been spoilt I thought this was a cheek If you like I can forward you a picture of a Tandoori mixed grill from the Internet to show your chef In these times of adversity I think that dropping standards in any business is probably not a good thing Paul
Really not impressed anymore. Cold food, they gave free onion salad and yogurt dip with the takeaway previously but not anymore! I think it’s time to try a new one as we haven’t been impressed for a while now
