   Poor choice of food, even the smaller Glossop store had more choice. Today I have been in and they don’t sell salt in the end I went next door to Sainsbury’s. Won’t be going to the Ashton M&S again.

   Sunday morning 11.30 23rd November, an older lady with short hair and glasses working on the cafe tills upstairs. The most rude obnoxious women I have ever dealt with, I’d be embarrassed if someone like that worked for my company!! Lost custom of a couple people by how rude she is. The way she speaks to people is disgusting will not be returning at all. All tables were covered in dirty plates and cups, a lot of empty tables but all dirty. Getting drinks wrong and all mixed up making the Que really long they havnt a clue what there doing behind the tills and making the coffees.

   Rang customer services about an item i may have lost instore. I was put through to a call centre. They claim they have no contact at all with the store and have no number to contact them. I asked how long this has been since and they said April, since the cyber attack. We are now in mid November!!! I have to travel again to the store just to see if my bag is there. The store is not that close to my home. I do not believe they have no means of communication within the store, no phone line and no method of contact, even e-mail between the call centre and their stores. Just appalling service. Such basic facilities. If they have not sorted out their technical issue from April to November they are just not bothering to sort it at all. I find it insulting to be told they are still working on this technical issue 7 months later!

   Lovely store, well stocked with helpful staff in the clothes and home wear depts. The food hall is quite small but very well stocked and staffed with really nice staff who are always happy to help. The cafe is lovely and well worth a visit we had an ordinary latte and a seasonal one and both were delicious and,I’m assured the cake was lovely !! The young lady that served us in the cafe was very professional and welcoming - also if you download the sparks card app for every 6 coffees you buy you get a free one !!

   The cafe was disgusting. We paid £35 for 3 tiny snacks that were very tiny. We also got verbally abused by a waitress who shouted at us in front of everyone for having 4 sachets of vinegar each! We were so embarrassed! The waitress came over to our table to tell us off about the vinegars in front of a full cafe. We will never return here!

   Went to food shop in M&S and was nicely surprised with the range of products and reasonable prices. There are both value for money product and with higher prices so depends what you looking for this is quiet good. I bought chicken strips and it was not packed in the plastic but in paper and this interesting that M&S made a big change with many packagings of products and reduced plastic. I was happy that I could find my yellow beans which is hard to buy in other shops. The price was amazingly cheap and the product still good to eat. I will highly recommend to go there because it is worth to buy a bit different sort of products than in other shops.

   My friend and I actually found an empty table in the café today we've tried a few times before but it's very popular we had 2 teas and a ham & cheese toastie I now understand why it's always busy we had the best toastie we've ever had I will recommend to anyone

   Very short que to enter the store, staff are helpful. Food hall is not huge but it's well stocked. Free parking as long as you don't exceed 3 hours. On occasion it can be a nightmare to leave this area due to traffic congestion, but this is not an M&S problem, it's Tameside planning !!!
