“The food here is absolutely gorgeous whenever anywhere else is closed these guys seem to be open so it's absolutely brilliant they are so good to the community and the food is so fresh here tastes amazing and makes you amazing meals it really is a great shop and there is a very large range of veriaties so you can find anything you need and more so if you ever need anywhere for food that's good for your soul go here it makes you happy the food vegetables fruit drinks butchers pretty much everything All in one shop and the staff are brilliant there is plenty of parking nearby it's close to the city centre and great to get food that isn't available in most shops so you will have a taste of something different than the usual so food or meal Time doesn't get boring big store inside with fridges and freezers tinned food fresh food biscuits sweets they also accept card payments aswell as cash so that is good also.....”

He was very welcoming, chatty, helpful and outright lovely. He helped pack my bags and also made sure I had everything I needed.”

“Great Indian supermarket, fresh herbs, garlic, chilli ( lots of varietys) at about half the normal supermarket price. Lots and lots of dried beans , peas, lentils and other pulses , a very good range of ground spices and curry mixs in different size bags from about 250g upto 1kg A good range of jars of curry sauce / pastes . Huge bags of rice. A good range of oils A limited range of yoghurt, butter, cold drinks . Some kitchen equipment like sives, huge pans, tin openers. But the best thing is the staff , they are friendly and accommodating and can answer all sorts of questions regarding their stock , like how to cook things , what would go best with different sauces , how to prepare / store the fresh herbs and spices.”

“Excellent store which has an amazing variety of Aussie Cadbury chocolates including Dream, Cherry Ripe, Violet Crumble, Mint Twirl, Twirl Caramilk, Cadbury Top Deck (Dream & Milk Chocolate), Cadbury Marble and the Cadbury Favourites selection box. The Favourites is the Aussie equivalent of Miniature Heroes (or Heroes as it is now called), but way better. It has Dream, Cadbury Milk Chocolate original, Cadbury Caramello, Moro, Flake, Boost, Picnic, Crunchie and Turkish Delight. The prices are a bit higher than the UK Cadbury equivalents but this is understandable as it is being shipped all the way from Australia. It also stocks Darrel Lea chocolate bars, imported from Australia as well. “Lovely little store would be brilliant if they expanded it we could do with more variety of item's from this store but the staff are lovely the store is clean and their is brilliant security the parking is great the flower selection is brilliant and it's a nice little set up great to click and collect great to just do a quick shop has most things you need and bringing in the membership card has just topped it and made it even more brilliant I think the Asda essential range should be widened and you should be aloud to purchase more it's great anyway I love it....”

The staff are so helpful, great range of items, dairy products, foods, chocolates, breads and cakes, newspapers, magazines, stationery, clothing for adults and children, make-up, fresh vegetables, flowers and much more. “Popped in for a drink before my local club Rushall played Away to Curzon Ashton. Really chilled and relaxed vibe, as well as a fantastic array of music and cool knick knacks adorning the whole shop / bar. Although there is nothing on draught, the owner will happily decant any drink of choice into a cool cold glass. Went for a couple of the German Pilseners including the Jever which went down a treat. Only disappointment was that I didn't have more time to try a few more flavours. Will hopefully make a return in future seasons but well recommended and can imagine it is rightly busy in evenings.”

“Amazing drinks! I got alcoholic slushes - 2 strong bow dark fruits and 1 gin with blue bubblegum and Dr Pepper sauces. A lot bigger than I expected, great size and put a good amount of alcohol in! Free delivery too, and it looks like they do a good range of hot foods, deserts and food at good prices! Would definitely come back here again!”

I asked if I could use the phone to call a taxi, as I didn’t have mine, and the security guard not only allowed me to use his phone.
