Every time we visit Liverpool, this is our go-to spot. The dishes are always incredible, full of flavour and made with love. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and we come back every December to celebrate my partner’s birthday. They never let us down!
The food here was absolutely unbelievable. Delicious. Spicy, full of flavour. The North Indian dish was just like the flavours I grew up with (being half Indian myself). We are vegan and they offer a tofu alternative to every meat dish and it was just amazing. We scraped our plates clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful the moment we stepped inside. What an absolute FIND. I grew up in London and have eaten in many, many Indian restaurants and this was definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. I wasn’t sure which wine to order so they let me try both before committing. The only reason I have given it 3 stars for atmosphere is because we came here early and there was no one here. Maybe it’s a better atmosphere a bit later! I wasn’t so keen on the music because the speaker was right above us but it’s not a big deal, we could still hear each other easily.
My favourite Indian restaurant of all time, I’m a regular and this restaurant is my go too. I’ve been going here for 8 years now, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always service with a smile, food is delicious, staff are lovely and atmosphere is relaxing. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice curry!!! For my 21st, they done a lovely set up, made me feel extra special on my big day!
We ordered chips ,puri, fish masala curry, lamp pasanda , garlic naan saag panner. Fish masala was more sweet than masala it tasted lke korma gravy that we usually have red one in picture is fish. Puri were good chips were good , naan wasnt up to tawa naan type as looked kore or less soft like puri less garlic coriander in it. Lamp meat was nice . I thought it was palag paneer when i ordered it but it was like buna (fry) spinach with paneer. There was just 4paneer piece but there were medium size to surprise the saag testes like made in india or bangladesh . So despite the expectations the saag paneer was good. It was side dish for 4.50 so the amount cant be argued. all over good.
We usually eat from here regularly as we are local. However the last few times we have been the food and service hasn’t been great, and it seems to be getting more expensive each time we go. £55 for 2 people sharing a vegetarian main as well as rice and naan bread. One of the waiters put a piece of potpourri in both of our drinks which we found quite funny and we ordered new drinks, however we released after we paid the bill we were still charged for all of the drinks despite 2 of them being ruined by the potpourri.
Food is ok, but be careful if you are going after a few drinks or a days shopping. We were in a rush to leave as we were so tired and just wanted to go back to the hotel. We paid stupidly without looking at the bill. When we got back we saw we were charged £52 for 2 people. We got 2 curries, 2 Naan, 2 chips, 1 boiled rice and 2 Coke Zero. We checked the menu online and realised we were blatantly overcharged. I asked for a receipt but she only gave me one from the card machine. Just a warning to others. £52 is an absolute disgrace for 2 people for the quality of the food and portion sizes
Customer service is terrible, especially for Indian clients. They were extremely rude to us. The food had a decent flavour, but the amount was relatively small compared to the cost. We had to wait a long time to receive a glass of water because it wasn't served with the food. We waited a while and received no explanation regarding bill payment.
The service was very good and attentive however the meal was very disappointing. The bhaji’s were re heated and not fresh and were very tough to eat. The curry was tasteless and not authentic at all. It was very over priced for what we got.
The food was so nice best Curry we have had in a long time. Amazing taste and staff very nice and friendly.
