I ordered 3 vada pavs and after waiting for 5-7 minutes, the lady came out of the kitchen and she made only 2 fresh vada pavs and took the remaining 1 vada pav out of the takeaway bag and I saw that she took it out of the takeaway bag, yet she lied and said that it was made fresh. Then I refused and said that I don't want it. I said give me fresh or give me my money back. Then the lady said that eat somewhere else, we are not sitting here. The lady is very rude. She thinks that they give it for free.

Inflation Has Hitβ¦ Harder Than the Chai! Iβve been coming to this restaurant for eight years, practically a regular by now. But lately it feels like inflation has hit them harder than itβs hit the rest of us. The portion sizes have shrunk so much, I almost needed a magnifying glass to spot my bread pakoda. The chai, once a comforting cup, now feels more like a polite sip. And despite everything getting smaller, the prices remain exactly the same. Itβs like the food went on a dietβ¦ but the bill didnβt. As someone whoβs enjoyed this place for nearly a decade, itβs sad to see the value drop like this. I really hope the management takes this in the right spirit and brings back the generous portions we all loved.

I have been buying curries from SKVP for a long time, and earlier the portion size used to be really good β one portion was enough for two people. Now the portion size has become much smaller, while the price is still Β£8.70. They give 2 parotha or rice as complimentary, but instead of giving complimentary items, they should increase the curry portion size. At this price, customers expect proper value for money. The taste is still good, but the quantity has reduced so much that it is no longer worth it. I hope management looks into this and improves portion sizes again. Loyal customers like me would really appreciate this change.

If you love authentic vada pav and donβt want to leave your furry friend behind, this place is perfect! The vada pavs are absolutely delicious β crispy, spicy, and served fresh with that perfect chutney kick. Theyβve got a few other snacks and chai that pair beautifully, but the vada pav really steals the show. What makes it even better is the dog-friendly outdoor seating. The staff were so welcoming and even brought out a bowl of water for my pup. Itβs rare to find a spot that balances great street-style food with such a relaxed and pet-friendly vibe. Highly recommend if youβre craving Mumbai-style comfort food and want to enjoy it with your dog by your side!

Hi If you want to eat Vada pav then this is the right place. Nice taste reminds me Mumbai feelings. Lucky I got parking in front of the restaurant. Otherwise you have to park on side road . Although sometimes it's difficult but why not try lovely staff too. Many thanks.

The experience was not as good as previous years. The service was too slow and we had to cancel a few items as they were never served on the table after 30 min of ordering. The Puri in Pani Puri were broken and not perfectly made. Aalo tikki was soggy. The staff was friendly and ordering was quick without any queue. Maybe because of rain, the place was not as clean as expected.

The place is really small. Customers here are super rude. They will just occupy your table when you are already on the table. There is no personal space. The music is super loud. The screens behind the counter, the transition speed is super fast. You canβt even take time to read and decide. I ordered butter dabeli, pani puri and vada pav. Neither of them taste good. Vada Pav had some weird flavour, not sure what type of oil they are using but it didnβt taste good. Dabeli was tasteless and flavourless.

The food here was just amazing. Had a pav bhaji which was the closest it could get to the typical Mumbai one. The vada pav had a bit more of the sweet chutney (more than my liking) but was good too. Should definitely try the mango lassi too. Itβs a shame that the place is small and one would have to wait to be seated. The staff was friendly and quick.

Great food but confusing experience. Apparently they also own the Madras Cafe next door so have both their own SKVP and Madras Cafe menus there. That's fine but the guy behind the till is very gruff, not easy to get your questions answered. And he is super aggressive. You give him your first order and before you even finish your words he shouts WHAT ELSE, WHAT ELSE... Also, menus and tables are filthy.

Small place with just 4 tables. Yummy vada pav. Samosa chat didn't taste like fresh or hot. Little spice would have been better. Chinese bhel is not so great. Thank you for the service.
