Wouldn't recommend delivery. It took over an hour and a half to arrive and was incredibly greasy. I had a butter chicken and egg fried rice but it was really not enjoyable and the sauce had a strange texture.
Great place for Indo-Bangla food. The thing that sets them apart is the good service as compared to similar other such places.
Sat 11th Oct Ordered a home delivery for the 1st time Some items: CHICKEN SASLICK, CHICKEN TIKKA MASSALA MADRAS HOT - CHICKEN TIKKA WITH RICES AND POPPADUMS CHUTNEYS + GARLIC MUSHROOMS ALOO GOBI - All very tasty and freshly prepared - Arrived hot and very impressed with overall quality - Will now keep as my favourite local Indian Restaurant. Absolutely terrible. 3 of the curries had pink chicken. The saag aloo tasted like cigarettes. The driver begged for a tip. I called to complain and he said oh I can send a saag aloo next time. I would not recommend.
Dreadful takeaway, a deviation from our usual place of order by my son who ordered. Prawn Korma was watery like yellow soup Greasy flat onion bhaji with no salad. 4 hours later, I am still feeling nauseous from my chicken madras curry that was swimming in oil in the container . A real disappointment. We shall not order from there again.

I was just walking past this place and popped in for a quick meal. I had an excellent chicken palak and paratha. Lovely food, good value, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated plus the staff were helpful and attentive. All you can ask for in a local restaurant. This will be my new local and takeaway as my old one closed. Chatting to the owner, he's been there over 20 years. Always a good sign.
I have always found the food at this restaurant totally authentic and delicious with very generous portions . The staff are extremely friendly and polite. They are very accommodating if you would like a particular dish altered to suit your taste . Even with delivery the food is hot, promt and to the same excellent standard as the restaurant food. My first choice for an Indian meal in this area.
