Have lived in the area for several years and regret not visiting sooner. Having been to Kerala before, I found the atmosphere, service, and especially the food to be excellent. We opted for the non-veg thali as well as some uzhunnu vada, alongside some alcoholic drinks. The vada was brilliant, as expected, however, the three course non-veg thali was really the star of the show. The prawn soup to start was unbelievably stunning. It was followed by a thali with one paratha, a healthy portion of rice, and six portions of different dishes including chicken curry, lamb curry, fish fry, aloo matar, daal, and sambar. Every dish was outstanding and served with its very own unique and distinctive flavour profile. It was almost too much food to finish given that my partner had to leave half behind, where I just about made it to the end. To finish, we were served a tasty little portion of dessert that was the perfect way to end the meal. Service throughout was attentive, and we were left to enjoy our food and eachother's company in our own time, so if we had wanted, we could have sat all evening without issue. This really is a gem of a restaurant delivering incredible value for your spend, and I will definitely be back with others so they can enjoy the same.

The service was excellent. Our order was taken after giving us just enough time to read the menu. Vishwa was very knowledgeable about menu and extremely helpful. He asked the chef to make our food with just enough spice, without it being too spicy. The atmosphere was calm. The food was fantastic. We had prawn biriyani, delicious, lamb curry delicious, king prawn masala delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

What a place! My worldly Persian friend recommended it, saying it was his favourite restaurant in the world. I was not disappointed. The curries are so flavourful and fresh, everything is made in-house from fresh ingredients. The fish and prawns are delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming and there were great recommendations. Before I had even finished I was already looking forward to my next visit. My life has been made just that little bit richer for having eaten here.

Iβve been ordering from Anjaanas via delivery apps for a few years but only recently went to the restaurant. The smell of South Indian ingredients hit you as you enter. They have an extremely affordable lunch set with veg and non-veg options with big portions. If youβre looking for authentic Malayalee/Kerala cuisine this is the place.

The food was excellent! My husband got vegetable samosas and chicken tikka for starter and lamb biryani for main. He said everything was sublime! My vegan dishes instead were tarka daal for starter (best Iβve ever had) and a peanut/coconut aubergine curry (which was out of this world!!!) with a delicious side of green beans fried with spices and coconut shavings. Service very attentive and polite as well as knowledgeable in terms of ingredients, making sure everything I ordered was vegan. A polite suggestion for the kitchen staff to be a bit quicker, as they took just over 1.5 hours to prepare 3 starters and 2 mains for the two of us (and there was only another table with guests in the restaurant, as we went early, as soon as they opened at 6pm. I donβt want to imagine how many hours it would have taken if the restaurant was busy. But a great experience all in all and we will definitely return!

Hands down the best sadya away from home. Had to book a table in prior but definitely worth it. The staff were welcoming and friendly with good portion of everything. Would come here back to try other dishes from their menu.

The sadya was excellent - beautiful food, each of the dishes was extraordinary. It was a perfect balance between taste and richness, although we ate to our hearts content, it felt like home cooked meal. The staff were very kind to accommodate us without a booking The meal itself was very hearty and Authentic. Iβd be very happy to go there again next year with a larger group. Service was also of good quality. The seating inside is a bit congested and can take improvement in aesthetics and decor. Itβs a great place to go in if food is priority. Not the best fit for a long evening. Iβd highly recommend them for a special occasion though.

Awesome food with real mallu taste. (I wish I knew what chilly they are using in the curries). Had porotta - was very soft and fluffy; Beef dry fry - was a bit sour (I guess it it cow meat, and not buffalo) but otherwise crispy and fried good; chicken curry - another excellent item. Staff was friendly. Washrooms were clean. Was a bit pricey. Good ambience. However, not very quiet. They charged 10% service charge. Not sure if it is normal/legal in UK though. Had to travel for an hour to reach there. No regrets.

Delicious South Indian meal that tastes incredible. ThΓ© food almost felt home cooked .Loved the simplicity and authenticity of the coastal flavours. Beef ularthu is my fav and I order it everytime . I would recommend you to dine in if you want to eat Dosas . The sambar was delicious too . The appams and Malabar parathas were perfectly soft. Highly recommend Anjanaas for a tasty South Indian meal .

Anjanaas never disappoints. Have been ordering takeaway from them since I discovered them on UberEats last year and have been very loyal ever since. I went to dine-in for the first time and the staff were attentive and very friendly, the music added great atmosphere as well. As a vegetarian, I love all of their veg dishes as the flavours and portions are great. The mango juice was also one of the best mango juices Iβve had in my life. I always recommend this lovely restaurant to friends & family :)
