   Very disappointed. There must be a new chef. Everything tasted so generic. It’s like they use the same sauce for every curry. Even the biryani’s gone downhill. Definitely avoiding this in future. This is an honest review. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

   I have been using Westmead Halal for many years and I don't remember having a bad meal from them. I have used other Indian restaurants from time to time but I always return to Westmead Halal. Their naan bread are one of the nicest I've had. I would highly recommend them and if you order via their own website and collect they offer amazing discounts.

   We ordered through just eat, and the last two occasions they forgot parts of our order. They sent someone out with the remainder of the order 30min later. It is a shame because the food is decent but forgetting parts of our order twice in a row is not good. We will be finding an alternative.

   Excellent delivery time and piping hot! Unfortunately the dishes were far too sweet. I do understand that a Dhansak is sweet,sour and hot, but this one was far far too sweet. So much so that it made the whole meal feel like a dessert. Also, as a solo diner, with one rice ordered, I do not think that an extra complementary rice was a little overkill. How about something slightly different? Maybe a samosa…, excellent delivery time, and delivery man though. Thank you.

   This used to be good but recently (2021) our experience of this take-away has been terrible! Past 2 times it has come much later than promised and we have had to chase it each time. This time (3rd time) it took an additional 30 minutes and we had to chase them twice ('five minutes', then 'ten minutes')... It is a shame as what we used to get was really tasty and on time, but the past few months the service has gone downhill.

   Not a bad takeaway per se, but not a patch on some of the other local curry houses. There’s just nothing special about the food (apart from the naan, which is excellent). But, and this is the kicker, they always forget one thing from the order- the number of times I’ve had to go back and ask for it is ridiculous. I’m only one customer so either I’m extremely unlucky or they’re not very good at the detail of getting orders correct.
