My partner, my son and myself had Christmas day festive menu which we prebooked and i have to say it was lovely from start to finish. The food was excellent and the service was too. My son had the vegan option which he said was lovely. The staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Everything looked beautiful inside. Perfect for our first Christmas Day eating out. Would definitely do this again. Thank you so much to all at Browns for a lovely afternoon.

I recently arranged a work Christmas meal for a large group of staff, and the entire experience was exceptional. The meal was absolutely stunning, and the service was flawless. Every member of the team was polite, courteous and professional throughout. A special thanks to Sam, the General Manager, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I’d also like to highlight the brilliant idea of using place cards with names and personal menu choices β€” this made the delivery of each dish incredibly efficient. I would definitely recommend Browns. Thank you to the whole team for a truly lovely afternoon.

The perfect place for a brilliant breakfast and a post graduation giggle with bubbles. Joe and the team could not have been more friendly, helpful amd attentive. Would highly recommend from everyday to celebration. This is a brand that travels well but always feels personal and local.

We visited Browns in Sheffield for a birthday lunch on a Monday, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The 3-course lunch menu is fantastic value for money. The staff made the occasion feel special with a lovely birthday touch, the service throughout was attentive, and friendly without being overbearing. We have visited Browns Restaurants several times now, and they consistently deliver great food, good value, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent place in the middle of Sheffield. Lovely old building. All the usual facilities you could expect, all nice n clean n sparkling. Frank Sinatra songs playing in the toilet! Spacious outdoor seating area on the main thoroughfare. Just right for watching the world go by. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely evening at Browns in Sheffield! The restaurant is big, with a lot of seating area and a bar. It’s located in the middle of the city centre, so it’s very easy to access. The staff were all helpful and nice and we got offered water as soon as we reached the table. Claudia was our main server and she was very friendly. We then ordered drinks; we went for cocktails and the salted caramel martini was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while! The food was so nice as well; the scallops were soft and melting in the mouth, and my fish main was delicious.

Wait staff were very good, diligent, couldnt do enough for you. Asked for two burgers medium rare with some extras, wasnt charged for the extras but was denied the cooking preference and had to eat a well done burger (later found out this was due to cooking standards) . Decor is awesome, art deco style with a grand piano center peice. Good date spot.

A very pleasant afternoon tea. We made a reservation online for 2 people at 3.30pm, but called ahead and asked to change to 3pm which was accommodated by staff without issue. When we arrived, the vegetarian of our group had her requests catered for no problem. The staff were attentive and swift, refilling the teapot and bringing out bits and bobs on request. The venue was fairly empty so unsurprisingly quiet; it is always a pleasure to find an oasis of calm and peace in a city. We were extremely happy with the afternoon tea itself and were so full up we could not finish it all - at only Β£20 a head + service which we were happy to pay. Toilets looked stylish and were clean as you like with some nice soaps. Can't fault it!

First time here and booked online on the day. It was a Saturday so could only get a table at 9pm. Greeted by friendly staff and place was packed, with a note on the door that they were taking bookings only tonight due to unforseen circumstances. I live in Guernsey so I am used to eating out a lot. The service here was very slow this evening as it took 1 hr to get starters after complaining. I could understand if it was 7:30 but at 9pm it should be quieter and quicker. In fairness we were offered a free dessert/ drinks and the waitress apologised and when i asked if they were short staffed, got advised one chef had walked out. It wasn't the fault of the other staff and i understand they would have been all under pressure. However, why continue taking full bookings to capacity if you can't handle it at 9pm? If we were told, I'd have gone somewhere else. Food was expensive and very average in my opinion. I've honestly never had scallops this small... 4 the size of a 2 pence piece for Β£11...very poor value and took me literally 2 mins to eat even if i ate slow as hell. The chicken and bacon avocado salad was good. Ordered truffle parmesan chips... Don't waste your money for Β£4.50. Standard uninspired looking oven chips that do rare and smell of truffle with a few strands if parmesan....not triple cooked or home cut. To be honest i did not tip and did 2 of us, 2 courses, water and 1 non alcoholic perroni and a g&t... Worst Β£80 I've spent and i eat out 3 to 4 times a week. The menu is nice but over priced for meoacre food and on this night slow service.

We had brunch at Brown's before my wedding ceremony, and was absolutely WOWED by their AMAZING service and food. Brown's effortlessly handled our group of 40 people- everyone's orders were correct, and the food came out fresh and delicious! They were also very accommodating with giving us a video tour of the space and setting out our place cards. They did a FANTASTIC job, I would recommend them to everyone again and again. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special!!
